I got a REAL simple answer for those chickens. A little Sweet Baby Rays and some charcoal, maybe corn on the cob and some 'slaw. Damn..............................

I bet those arrows were a BEAR to get out of the butts at the club! I had a dickens of a time last fall getting my shafts out of them.......... My Elite Answer is a 2012 and I couldn't be happier with it. What shafts are you using? I'm shooting Gold Tips.

After I posted that little wise crack I thought oh crap, phade might think it was directed at him and it wasn't. It'll probably be me with the little veal/venison combo. hopefully. I have no issues with EAB..................

I can just imagine the spotted fawn hero shots next year..........................

Might be a good time to buy a NYS Lifetime license if you don't already have one, at least you could come back and hunt here if you don't get any tags in AZ................

You really come up with the questions Borngeechee! Do you lay awake thinking this stuff up? That's ok, you seem to really be into it. Keep 'em coming.....

Yup and the Styrofoam makes a heck of a mess too............. For years we used to shoot our BH's at Double T in North French into their sand pit. They had a bucket of water next to it and an old hairbrush to clean out the sand. It is tough on the heads but you just have to commit a couple complete heads or swap out the blade and you're GTG. Lets start a petition for NCSC new sand pit.

I'm thinking my Man Card will be revoked over this incident. Maybe I'll go toilet paper my neighbors house or soap their windows, hoping you guys don't follow through............................................

I tried to talk Steve U. into a sand pit for broadheads but no luck. It'd be great to shoot off the platform or from the ground into it for sighting in.

Well done, what a grand day that must have been! Who is tanning the hides for you? The pictures are great too. What gun and chambering was it again, 30-06 Blaser? How was the loin cooked and was it good?

My father kept them for 10 years AFTER they expired then gave them to me last year! I'm sure they'd still work fine but I tired of looking at them. I'll have to replace the ones in my boat next year so I can replenish the shelf stock then.

Wise guys.............

Maturity shows up at different times in peoples lives I guess. At 53 I figured it wouldn't ever happen but something strange DID happen today. I have had some expired boat flares sitting on a shelf in the garage for about a year or so and have been mulling around in my head something creative to do with them. Nothing really came to mind that sounded very smart so I figured I'd just trash them but I didn't know if it was OK to put them in the bin while still in working order. Into a bucket they went then I covered them with water. I'll let them soak for the day then adios.............. Overkill, probably. Boring as Hell, absolutely.

What a great plan for the day. If I just squint my eyes a bit I can imagine the seen and smell the breakfast. The bluebirds will arrive to see their digs in tip top shape for nesting! Let me guess......maybe a late afternoon (or early ) stop at the Legion? Perfect day, enjoy!

I searched high and low for a bull shitttt flag and can't find one.

Crappy job......................................

I got nervous when I didn't see a o-dark-30 post from you. Then toss in the fact that NOBODY posted from 3:38am until my post around 7:40am and I thought that damned Al Gore pulled the plug on his creation. Glad all is well in the Bristol Hills connectivity department.

I'll be dipped............ You might have mentioned it before and it sailed right over my head. We should meet for a round 49 sometime. What's your range of choice there? I was there last Friday and shot the plinking range with a friend (non-member) who had a new to him .219 Zipper and 22 Hornet try out. The lane to the benches for the 300 yard range hasn't been plowed all winter. I went in during early January with my wagon but it was rough. I think since we lost the caretaker nobody cleared the lane of snow, you have any information on that issue?

Do you belong to Niagara County Sportsmans Club?

Ya.....that scope sits on my (no surprise) Mannlicher stocked 10/22. I love it on that gun........... Widow's? Come on, think positive! -

For me I have no calibers I need to have anymore. But if you said a gun "just because you want it" it would be one I let slip through my fingers......UGGH. It was a Ruger single shot Number 1 full stock in 30-06 (I think I have all that correct?). It had a 4x Leupold scope on it. My friend needed the cash so I bought it, swiped the scope off it and sold it for what I had into it essentially getting the scope for zip. I'm pretty sure it was $550 but could have been $600, I don't recall. It was pristine.......... I tried to sell it on a couple web sites but couldn't make it work. Another friend bought it and it hasn't seen the light of day since! The only positive is it is still possible I could get it....................... Somewhere on my computer I have picture of it, I'll see if I can hunt it down. -
Hey, welcome back to reality! Get any fishing in??
