  1. Your brilliance is only overshadowed by a biologist and some chains................
  2. http://s13.postimg.org/vrprazqc7/PESANDO_URSOS_POLARES.jpg http://e-fotek.pl/images/91803542048073083777.jpg I can only hope these bear survived these NASTY nets............... I know I'd much rather be hoisted by a net type sling than chained up. How 'bout you?
  3. That there is a priceless pearl of wisdom from Mr VJP.
  4. Maybe it's only NJ bear that are adversely effected by a sling because I see plenty of other bears in slings and not chained up and lifted. Next try?
  5. So the chains are ok for a small bear? They generally have a enough guys on their crew to carry all the important tools of their trade so why not leave the chains in the truck and carry a sling of some sort? You'd think the "Save The Bear" people would be all over it.............
  6. Amen to that.................... What kind of crap is that? You'd think it would rip the joints the heck out of muscles and tendons etc. Maybe somebody needs to send those idiots a sling or something.
  7. I figured you missed it! Good luck this morning, looking forward to your report.
  8. Darn it all.......................if ONLY the coyote season WAS open during spring gobbler season.
  9. I don't see the need on any of my centerfire guns. I have plenty of faith in myself that I won't monkey the scope up and if I do, I'll either reach into the back of the truck for another, get one from my buddies locker or go the hell home. I sure don't have the years and miles of some of the REAL old codgers here but I've put in plenty of miles and days in my almost 40 years of scoped gun toting days and ain't had one go tits up yet.........on the other hand, I don't expect a Leupold to have a problem although it could happen. Like you, I also think on most modern firearms it takes away from the esthetics.
  10. Hopefully you guys are having a great day! Happy Birthday fells............................................
  11. I'll bring some more when we go fishing again this summer! I KNOW you like 'em!
  12. I try not to be the first crow calling in the morning. After I hear the first caw caw caw from a feathered flyer then I'm tooting on the old wooden Faulk's call. Gobble gobble........
  13. Easy answer....... Would you rather get hit with a ping pong ball or a golf ball?
  14. +1 Great buck. Who scored it?
  15. Hey Skillet, Happy Birthday! Trout for dinner I'd guess?? Have fun................................
  16. It's a 31 day season, plenty of time for mistakes.
  17. Wait till wooly posts up some Blue Ribbon pics shortly!
  18. They can be pretty collectible Dan. Mine is made by Wetterlings I believe but certainlly not special although made in Sweden. The Gransforbuks (sp) are pretty nice but damned expensive.
  19. About 5-6 years ago I bought a Husqvarna hatchet. Not sure why but I thought it'd be pretty neat for camp fire wood...........it is a very nicely built tool. http://www.vminnovations.com/Product_68696/Husqvarna-13-Inch-Wooden-Handle-Hatchet-576926401.html?rd=gpf_68696&utm_source=ShoppingBranded&gclid=CNut_IO84MQCFdcYgQod2zMA0Q
