  1. I'm good for 24-48 hours then I'm in trouble. Backyard bunnies will be in trouble...................
  2. I've had LOTS of them broken off in me. Two memorable ownes were the one that went about 3/8" into my bean from a branch I cut off and then the one that went DEEP into my foot as I was checking trail cams with my Crocks on............. I'm healthy as a horse, they ain't poison.
  3. What do you have your eye on? Revolver or semi auto? Brand? Chambering?
  4. My oh my....................talk about suspense, WOW! How'd you do, have a good time?
  5. Pretty cheezy of an outfitter to post like that. I'm sure its not their first try at that on a forum. Wack 'em................. They know the drill.
  6. Condolences to Herrby's friends & family. Remember all the good times and lessons learned.
  7. And a boot up his azz? Knotheads..............!
  8. That'd work.................... I think we can come out now, he's probably sleeping off his (?) bender.
  9. 11 pounds? Holy Kielbasa!! Biggest one I could find was 4 pounds, it appears to be around 4 oz now!!! We did a fine job on it, along with the cabbage, carrots & taters. Danny Wegman wins again.........................<grin>
  10. 2 much green beer............................................................??
  11. Here's to ya! HSPD all.................
  12. I'll be doing one tomorrow for dinner. My father is in town and he'll be coming over! Simmering will be the method for me, easy as pie......... One of my real favorites!
  13. No. Sid Goodling is the 'smith that will do the work. He'll cut threads, chamber to 243AI, cut/crown and check bed to fit. Then, good mojo will be a sure thing, as long as I can shoot straight.
  14. I guess I should have said "if you have to ask............" Silly me. <G>
  15. This is the gun with the matte finished 3.5-10 and a closeup of the bolt for those looking to go after a bit of a custom look. I'm into quality, not quantity......YMMV.
  16. Order up another T/C. Almost the same <grin> AR guns aren't my thing. Someday, but not now........
  17. Karl @ Kampfeld Customs. Superb craftsmanship & fast. Well respected by many. http://www.kampfeldcustom.com/
  18. Put the gear on the hitch haul and the deer inside!
  19. As pictured, the stock is $485 bolt fluting $100 IIRC. Bedding the stock= case 'O beer. Planned work: Barrel $300, Smithing $250. Enjoyment......Priceless.
  20. What do you mean buy "compact", short barreled and lightweight? Over the counter the selection is zip. If you want to spend some money, build one. S/A 700, re-barrel with custom tube, #1 contour & stainless steel. McMillan Edge stock and a Timney trigger. Talley mounts and a Leupold 2.5-8 or similar scope Sell the OEM barrel & stock and take your wife/GF out to dinner. Good times.......... This is a LH CDL that is set in a McMillan Edge. A 6mm Rock Creek ss barrel is ordered and it'll be chambered in 243AI and 21" in length. The bolt was flutted by Kampfeld. Talley mounts and a Leupold VX2 3-9 at the time of the picture. Currently a 3.5-10 VXIII Matte is on it. A nice compact some-what lightweight gun. Short actions are where its at!
  21. WTF is endangered that the Trump Boyz shot? LOTS of hunters have bought Camping World products in the past...........PAST! Goooo Bye Camping World CEO!
  22. I just heard a radio ad run by a union bitching about Gov Coumo and how much he cut from pensions and salaries for all sorts of State workers. Nice.................................
