Knowing it was rifle I agree I'd push the trail further and should be a dead deer. I'd worry about a bear as much as yotes.

One of mine is when I get to work on a Monday and they ask if I caught any... I always say nope they run to fast

I'll tell you my 9yr old has eagle eyes and love it when he comes, last time we hunted he saw the deer before I did.

Well he hit my neighbors long overgrown field less than 100yrds away it's so thick and over grown u can't see in it, never saw him after.

Hunting in back yard, have a 110-120class 8pt slowly heading my way and although I would like bigger I probably won't pass if presented a shot

I got an idea, so with the extra dmp's I'll get Nov 1st I'll have six tags, so give me your address and I'll stack 5 of them on your porch and you eat'em all. I don't shoot what I can't eat.

It's a llllllllllloooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggg stretch here. Sad to hear and I can't imagine loosing a child but we can't ask what if our whole life it's to short.

Do it.. I showed up at my sons practice once on a Saturday after hunting that morning and felt a little out of place I'll be honest.

Quick sit for me so I'm in my back yard, have to leave at 8, doe in the yard and a doe near my stand in entry. One lone doe behind me now.

I didn't see a thing after I climbed up. I got home and my 9yr old climbed up on his stand and saw 9 doe and a six point. He even took pics with his iPad to show me when I came home, darn kid had them all around him.

Sounds like fun I'd love to meet up with all ya since I'm close by and I think you hunt out my way but I'm jammed packed with stuff tomorrow, good luck guys.

So I headed out early to get a hunt in I had decided what stand I was going to hunt and on way in decide to check a cam near another stand, pull card and have a really nice buck in it from a couple days ago. Then I look behind me and see deer moving, well a small 6pt pushed 3 doe right to me they saw me and took off and the buck headed towards the stand I wanted to hunt in, no I couldn't make up my mind so I'm in the stand I wasn't planning to hunt, hope it goes well tonight.
