Just a lot of rain here and when I hit the store earlier I didn't see anything crazy, looks like avon had some flooding. 13wham has some photos up

3 for me, my lowest total yet. I knew going into the season I was gonna have little time so on my 3rd hunt I took a jake. The guy hunting next to our property came over after my shot and kinda broke my balls about shooting a jake and I mentioned I had little time ( not that I should have to explain myself) but sometimes you have to take what the woods provide ya.

Boy do I have a place, more of a certain house that puts stuff to the curb. I'm sitting in a beautiful leather recliner complements of them. I have a nice round end table from them and a kids gold bag full of clubs and club cover. Its like xmas every time they put stuff out.

I've never seen one of these before, almost looked like a small hummingbird. Thoughts? Don't mind the dog crap it was all over it.

Well my first hunt was in the rain/snow mix with no luck. Wed I went to my go-to spot with not a gobble to be heard so I packed up and headed to our land. Did a long walk and talk with no response and headed to work. Thursday I headed to our land first and heard two different gobbles right where they usually are. Once they hit the ground I started calling. They slowly made it my way and both were Jake's. They crossed the path before I was able to move and now couldn't see them with the brush so I started scratching leaves and they turned around and hit the path and dropped the 2nd bird that crossed. With my limited time I'm happy as hell with the hunt. Nothing better than having birds gobbling within 30yrds of ya.

37 rain/snowy mix and windy, haven't heard or seen a bird, probably the crappiest weather I've turkey hunted in.

All you have to do is search channels and you should be able to find it, add growing deer TV as well.

Wind took out or pine tree that took out our power line to the house yesterday. Ripped half the line off the house but not the box. I had my phone on silent in a work meeting and didn't see my wife called a few times. F I law came over to get my generator going for our sump pump that always runs. Some how the sump pump shorted out with the power. By the time I saw my wife called f I law got a new pump and had it just a bout going before the crock and drains filled up. Called n grid and they sent a crew over and said I needed a electrician to repair my end before they would. Had electrician within a half hr fixed his end re attached line from road to house and I thought we were back in business. Somethings still messed up because some outlets were well over 150 and some under 40. Being so inconsistent we cut the power. I ended up getting another generator to use just for our furnace today but the furnace wouldn't turn on, got our HVAC guy over and had to replace a relay from the outage. Now have heat, no lights or water and no sign of n grid.

Yeah no kidding we just got back from Fla tonight.
