  1. saw this on facebook last night. it's pretty spot on with how I feel.
  2. all this cheap gas and I'm not driving... my truck readout now estimates my mpg at a gallon a week haha
  3. Maybe a message from conservative, trump supporting, 2nd amendment advocating country music stars Big and Rich will help some of you holdouts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. yeah the corn i think will be fine. A bean plant or 2 may survive. I'm not talking a ton of crops here, just kicking myself for jumping the gun.
  5. If I had to pick a number it's R6. But like Buck, I'm socially liberal. I don't have strong opinions on abortion, gay marriage is fine with me, so is weed but I draw a line with some of the outrage with gender issues. I don't care what you want to remove or attach, but I don't think our tax forms should start adding gender options. I want equal pay for woman, but don't want a law forcing it or do I think we should rename manhole covers. I'm very fiscally conservative and I believe in a strong military and border. I believe in some social welfare, but not a crutch. My biggest beef with the right is their stance on the environment. So much so, that if they don't get their shit together I might switch my vote.
  6. may have screwed up. A few of my plants were outgrowing their seed starters and i was anxious to get them in the ground, so I put everything in last night. My plan was to cover the 2 nights this week that called for below freezing. But this morning there was a frost and my beans and cukes were all bent stalks. Corn was fine and squash is too small to bend yet. Leafy stuff all looks ok. Not sure if they will fix themselves or not. It's early and not the end of the world, and I can easily restart but I'm bummed.
  7. i have n95's but wore my camo turkey facemask (3/4) to get some essentials (wine) on Friday. I also had my cc with me. There's something odd about walking into a liquor store with a mask and gun...
  8. no, what you're doing is pointing to 1 of the bad decisions made during this and then lumping up everything else into it as also bad. Out of the dozen or so ordinances put in place, a few have been bad. That doesn't mean the rest are as well. Isn't this the same motto gun owners live by? Don't punish me for the actions of a few idiots?
  9. he would be incorrect unless you were in public. The private workforce is exempt, so long as that workforce is essential.
  10. also the ones on Fox, including Trump and his teams are recommending them. Is Alex Jones your source?
  11. oh sweet baby jesus let us hope not driving to pickup a new gun is a drive I dont mind making!
  12. placed an order for 2 tickets. And for my $100 I reserve the right to use this picture and the language regarding this drawing as a firearm raffle whenever we discuss why the crossbow is not bow. See #2
  13. it was a joke, i hope you didn't take it that serious
  14. there are 2 things at play here. The n95 is for the wearer, which is why companies and citizens shouldn't be buying them, they should be going to the hospitals. Then you have the "face covering", which ranges from a surgical mask to a bandanna. The intent of this is to prevent the wearer from spreading contaminated droplets. They provide no protection to the user. This is all over the news, and many still seem confused. The major issue with this virus is that many can be carriers with no symptoms, which is why guys like Chris need to stop being dicks about it.
  15. except nobody did ask you. Most people prefer to get their science and medical opinions for doctors and scientist. let me guess, the earth is flat, the moon landing was fake and global warming isn't real because it snowed in April. Am I close?
  16. how is this not a "if you're not for it, you're against it". I'm with you on the boat launch issue. I also don't have a problem with the liquor store issue. People are f'n stressed and others are chemically dependent. Now's not the time to try prohibition again. However, just because you're pissed about the launch, doesn't mean you shouldn't do what you can to help stop the spread. You not complying, is being against it. period.
  17. it wasn't even in effect yet and my wife said there were cops at the doors of walmart in webster yesterday
  18. what's the difference between protecting myself from someone with a knife and someone with a deadly virus?
  19. I have plenty of masks, i'm thinking the turkey stuff for the comedy gold
  20. so real talk, I'm saving my n95s. I'm thinking of loaning the wife my light weight turkey headgear, and would wear the same. Anyone else besides me and bill?
