I don't even know why I entertain you bud, but here it goes. You said "you could always use. knife". I guess I should have remembered that you only shoot doe in the summer time. My bad pal. I'll remember next time chief. But I'm still not knifing a doe, their hoofs are nasty too.

I get where you're headed here and in some populated parts of the state I agree. But if I walk up on a dying deer, I'm putting it out of its misery, not calling the cops. I'm sure we've all seen the dying deer get up and book it too.

What a wild night. Snowing like crazy at times, then clear, then snowing. I had 3 separate groups of deer come in all at once for a total of 14 deer at once. Ranging from bb's to mature doe. Not a single set of horns. Great hunt though.

It's 655 in Ontario. The birds are chirping and have been since 645 and I can see very well. Even in the pines. Neighbor just shot so I'm calling the DEC. Sunrise is 718...

Bubba, I said I would shoot a big deer before legal light if i felt it was safe, I also said I never have. Is that still not clear? And trust me bud, I could afford you. Whatever it is you're offering anyhow.

oh weally? let me congratulate you on your doe kills tough guy. I've probably passed on more bucks then you'll ever even see in a lifetime. I hunt for quality, not quantity. And I do most of it with a stick and string. I've never bragged about quantity. I haven't shot a doe in over 6 years, and if I did I'd certainly eat all of her, not just the ribs and neck. moving on.

i'm not sure i understand your comment. While it's hard to grow big bucks on smaller pieces of land, if you own bedding area and you're bumping yearlings to the neighbors, you're not helping yourself. I'm not anti-still hunting. i was just pointing out a possible negative associated with it. -
you have to give it some time. especially with low cell reception. it's a drawback in areas with poor reception, but eventually it zooms in. I've found the cabela's paid app a little better but only if you're really going to use

It's relevant. If I hold a certificate for certified safety professional (http://www.bcsp.org/csp) I'd like to think I know what I'm doing. It's no different then a doctor giving medical advice, or a lawyer giving legal advise. I haven't seen any deer from you since you ran out of nuisance permits shawn. How's your season? Probably to worried about what my friends dad did 20 years ago... Call the DEC on me, like I said I've never shot outside of legal light. But it wouldn't stop me if I felt it was safe. have a nice day.

i never said they should be broken. I just said that I will use my own judgement on when it's safe to shoot a deer. And as an EHS leader for a very large company, I think I'm qualified to do so. I swear this site is so police and law happy sometimes it's amazing. So if I shot a deer at 6:50 with snow on the ground in a field when legal light was 7:05. Cry me a river, call the DEC. You should be able to prove it was me in court...
