  1. Maybe we can hide that neck with some Duct tape or some type of neck warmer. I'm sure I can butter you up enough to squeeze you into my son's bird vest, that way if any one ask's we can say "He is wearing a youth sized vest ofcourse he is a youth!"
  2. I will only go if the temperature is just right. I can't even find a youth to Pheasant hunt with this weekend, just don't know any kids that are the right age.

Ecoli comes from ground beef typically, salmonella comes from chicken. Neither one of them are good. lol

Off topic again but..anyone ever have sweet breads? They are the glands from the neck of a cow...really awesome if done right.

I think that to be truely organic is pretty strict standards but I could be wrong. Free range is different of course. True organic stuff requires a whole line of approved process's right down to what they feed the animals that make the manure that they put on the dirt for fertilizer. Not my thing to worry about organic or not, but a lot of folks do.
  8. Move the rest in the direction you want the arrow to go, in his case move it to the left a hair to start. Some times this will correct the up and down too, if not move the rest down a hair. Tiny steps here are important, field points and broadheads should group together in a few minor adjustments. Provided he is shooting a properly spined arrow of course.
  9. That statement where you said "all these accidents", ar does not change things to make it safer. And I would love some examples of all those accidents that have occurred.
  10. I have heard about that place and want to check it out some day. This place I went to did fenced hunts and birds, big place with 1400 acres. Real nice bird fields and we found plenty of left overs from other hunts. Flushed 14 altogether and my dog had many points, we went all afternoon until the dog was wore out.
  11. Do you happen to have stats to back up that safety statement? Ny is near the top in hunter safety.
  12. No kidding, I knocked a good bunch of feathers off that one and it kept on going. Those dang straight away shots are the worst. I plan on adding pics as the hunts go on this year.
  13. You kinda remind of one of those guys that commits suicide by pulling a gun on a cop, I won't give you the pleasure though.
  14. Hey look the guy that said this is back.
  15. Funniest part of the day was when we tracked down a wounded bird, my wife found it and instead of shooting it I sent her in to grab it by the neck because I thought it was almost dead and I couldn't get to it. She screamed and darn near fell over when the bird busted out of there and took off over her head, she missed needless to say. lol
  16. You fell victim to a trick, that was steve863 in an old man costume. Me and him do that all the time. JK, I like to meet old guys like that, they always have either a story or important advice for us youngsters.
  17. I prefer a nice Madera wine and a tiny bit of beef stock in the wine at the end.
  18. Pup did great for his first time out on Pheasant, wish I could say the same for my shooting. lol (Preserve hunt)
  19. I hunt near dry creek beds, no need for a tire iron...lol also kidding!
  20. Some real funny stuff here! I'm a nice guy and would stop and talk to whom ever came around.
  21. http://www.dec.ny.gov/docs/wildlife_pdf/1213guidebiggame.pdf Link to the yearly syllabus.
  22. Just aim a hair low, or aim where you want the arrow to come out on the other side.
