i might be wrong here but i think you by law are supposed to display tag on back but i dont think it says weather its on your coat or pack but when you get to stand and take your pack off you are no longer within the law also there is a pict in the hand book that shows how to tag a deer

why is it not legal to use scent to attract deer but not a bear like vanilla extract or some thing like that its not bait just scent

unless you carry 4000 pounds or tow over 10000 pounds every day the heavier trucks no mater what brand are over kill and now you are going over 50 thousand dollars for a pick up very wasteful money imo

wd i am no 90 year old and i pound my truck from every single green light to every curve no one drives a truck as hard as i do every second i am in it at 50 i still drive like a teenager in fact i had a local cop who aproached me to see if i was the one he was trying to catch funny i did not know he was after me we had a good laugh and he moved on but i would not trade my truck for any other brand i drive them hard and they hold up

all i can do is give you my opinion on gmc trucks i do not and will not own a ford as for gmc nobody can touch the fuel economy i have the 5.3 with active fuel management it spend more time in 4 cylinder mode than 8 i had an 09 4 door half ton that would carry over 3000 pounds with no problem and yes i had the load on a scale i have yet to load my current 2014 but it hauls my 17 foot deep v from hyde park to champlain and back on one 26 gallon tank thats 330 miles round trip and you dont even know its there eco boost is just a word no other brand has ever had a motor that can touch the gmc or chevy motor my current motor is 355 horse trust me you dont need any more than that

the hight shoud tell you what it was a bear would mark a tree much higher than a buck

also if you think about it i like a lot of people carry a handgun while i carry a long gun during fire arm season

i called the dec once a few years ago and asked if i could carry a muzzle loader and a rifle in case the deer was to far for the muzzle loader boy they really had to go back and forth with every one around them pretty scarry they dont know there own laws on the spot but in the end they said as long as the season was open for each impliment i had it was ok

there are a group of hunters that hunt with spears look up cold steel hunting

dont use them any more just try to keep a low profile when i did i used trails end seemed to work i just dont spend my money on them any more

here is my opinion i am 50 i hunted from an api climber for a long time i loved that stand but as i age i am now very happy to use a ladder stand they are set up you just walk in an climb up done but when its raining i use a ground blind they are also great when on a new spot you can move around if needed so i thing you need them all
