i do not think ammo is still being bought like it was now they are keeping the price up by keeping the stocks low i could not find any mag ammo so i guess my small game hunting is done for this year thanks ammo makers you are killing our sport

hey wing nut i live in hyde park i have had bucks in my yard every year shed the same week every year and i have picts of this big 7 that has lost them right on time this year and yes some hold them longer i have seen them the first week in april but the mature bucks that rut hard loose them here the second or third week in dec every year

a longer season for taking does would be fine but not for bucks also the bigger bucks are loosing antlers all ready due to rut stress

my brother saw a guy shooting at a heard of deer and was not going to look and see if he hit any my brother made him follow one of the blood trails and found a button buck he made him take the deer the guy later had a heart attack not fatal i call it carma

it seems like 90 percent of hunters had a bad year as far as deer sightings this year but if you spent any time in the outdoors as i do all summer and fall hiking all over there was a crap load of nuts this year so deer did not have to travel to find food does did not move so bucks did not have to spend as much time looking for them

sst sabot slugs and muzzle loader bullets are the same bullet they are way to hard and do not expand

if he is planing on waiting all day for those deer to come back to the field then it ma\kes sence i prefer to be on stand one hour before day light

i can re load 3 pellets and a power belt in 6 seconds and cap and shoot a second deer and have done it a few times

i just cant see carying and measuring powder commpaired to dropping in a couple of pellets so i will use pellets untill the make something better

it used to be together meant even in the same woods but i am pretty sure i read a couple of years ago that changed to sitting together

it has been that way for a long time you are not supposed to hunt together i think they made a change recently but there are still limitations as to distance if i remember right

depends on what warden you run in to i spoke with albany about having a bow and gun during gun season they were asking other wardens in the room and got several answers i would call albany and get an answer and get the persons name who gives you an answer so you are covered remember this is america you are guilty untill you prove your inosince
