I understand what you're saying about both stores but the one thing Cabela's has over Dick's (in my opinion) is quality of the products and availibility. Tink's is Tink's no matter where you get it but the clothing selection doesnt compare. Also, at Dick's if you dont buy it pre-season they figure you dont need it.

Yeah, the galleries were bad, almost most as much as NYC trying to teach Sergio how to count. i can certianly see how 1 idiot yelling something is worse the the whole gallery counting.

not surprised that some scored that low...almost perfect playing conditions for most of the day. a couple heavy down pours this morning but then light rain, no wind. afternoon again no wind and mid 70's with super soft greens. if you can hit tne fairway its like throwing darts for those guys. and if not that close the slower greens make putting a easier too. Course drains almost too well. If weather holds and course dries out the scores should be closer to par.

Just like the Open at Merion, had some rain last night to soften up the greens. I wouldnt expect the scores to stay low.

They are expect 35k people a day to be on the course each day. you can definately see a change in traffic and restuarants. I love to golf but rather watch the tournament on TV where you can see everything, plus my beer and food is a lot cheaper from the fridge.

a co-worker lives across the st from the park, on the west side. Deer pass through his yard to travel from park to farm fields. he owns about 1 acre or which i think he can legally hunt on about 50sf. he talks about putting in a ground blind to pick them off as they walk by. about as close to a canned hunt as you can get.

If the trade for say a box of AR parts were possible, at least you could hunt with it. Not sure what you can do with a crossbow in NY other then hang it on the wall.

It is just political foolishness. Last time I check, you can use a rifle anywhere you want in PA for deer. Now I know is it south of NY and they do crazy things down in the south but i beleive they have suburbs and hunting is allowed "close" to homes. havent heard but do that have a higher number of "accident"? Just be smart and safe with whatever weapon you chose, and enjoy your hunt while you let me enjoy mine.

Love the tin foil cooking. Slice some potatoes, carrots, onion, throw a burger on top, a little S&P seal it up and throw it on the coals, good eats there!! Also just a baked potato right on the coals. I need to make a fire.

lone wolf is a good stand. They may not be the most comfortable all the other advantages are worth it to me. I own a sit and climb and a hang on. Both are rock solid in the tree. i like the flip up seat on the hang on but the easy of use of the climber. thinking about getting the flip up seat attachment for the climber.

Most self propelled walk behind mowers are essentially the same. Biggest difference is the motor.. The only mowers that is drastically different are the Honda mowers and they are about double the cost. The Honda's can be bought with plastic decks, dual blades and hydrostatict transmissions. I have one and love it. generally speaking a mower will run about $300 and if it last 10 yrs thats $30 yr.

Honda makes an accord in AWD called the crosstour. It has approximately the same MPG as the CR-V. CR-V is a nice vehicle. Tough to go wrong with a Honda.

Phade had some real nice climbing sticks in the wanted section. If he still has them I am sure he wouldn't mind a couple extra $$$. not sure if you said but if you hunt public land, screw in steps are frowned upon.

If I recall correctly, the Hamburg, PA store is 240,000 sq ft. You could fit 3 NY stores in it.
