I think I've asked this before but did anyone do indoor NRA bullseye matches this winter? This year the traveling league in was postal. Each club shot at home range. It's with a 22LR chambered pistol at 50ft with one unsupported hand. I've been modifying my Ruger MarkIII hunter pistol to fit me better and make it more of a target pistol. Still have some work to do though. I think the 10 ring on the slow fire target is 0.9 inches diameter for a size reference. I'd like to get slow fire score up above 90 and other targets up into high 90s. Bueller? Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

A lot of entities are doing this in lieu of a banquet. Some already do it. I've sold some similar tickets to members on herein the past. Tgise are cheap tickets. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

It's a bit of a drive but I've been to Deerslayer before. It means I'd put off qualifying for the Outdoor world championship and then decided I should. lol I remember them having a fun course. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

Nope but I know a few local guys that make their own various calls I can use. I know they make and tinker with a lot of combinations. Also seems to be a lot skill involved in tuning them as you go. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

Daughter had basketball and then had to make a pit stop this AM. Didnt make it down to Albany for a Fidens beer run before they sold out. Last night I had a couple varieties from the fridge. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

I've been slowly trying and tinkering with Meat Eater and other recipes to cook more odd ball cuts of venison. Problem is time and prep. normally low and slow cuts you're tinkering with just get rushed so the family can eat at a normal time. I want to get back to posting actual recipes with photos on here though. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

Feel like it would help it not dry out as easily when cooking. Never tried adding that stuff though. Just cheese. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

If your battery dies on an ebike, now you have a really heavy bike. lol Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

Expensive as all hell. Both bikes my brothers. Can definitely ride further and do things you can't on a regular mt bike. With two bikes it makes an awesome ride to cover some ground. Still a workout but it'd be tough to justify riding with similar capable riders on reg bikes. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

I toss them and anything that was an inner body cavity surface (like thin layer of hind quarters and portion of the ribs) if the stomach or intestines are ripped. Otherwise it's fine. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

Didn't see this. Yes they're ebikes, as in assisted pedaling. I'd you don't pedal then you don't go anywhere. Poestenkill Community Forest trails maintained by saratoga mountain bike association. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

It'd make it interesting to do points a way someone else mentioned. Doe and buck both more than a point but bucks add a point per antler point. Also if you have tags to fill and you're hunting you can still pull in points for who picked you that week. Otherwise a hunter who tagged a buck during any part of the season would be an obvious pass the next week during that same part of the season. Bucks still score big but filling doe tags could keep it close and interesting. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

I couldve had 22 points but I passed decent bucks during early, regular, and late season. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

Had intentions of smoking low and slow but didn't have that kind of time. Venison brisket with same Applewood seasoning 8 often use on ribs. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

Eye round to me just isn't better than tenderloin IMO. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

I haven't found a tab that fits well. For now I use a Damascus deer skin glove that's thin with better feel. Any other glove might as well have been shoot with leather insulated work gloves. Could barely tell there was a string there let alone cleanly release. Lancaster or 3 rivers might have me shopping for a better tab. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

how do you deal with trespassing especially during hunting season? cotton hanlon being the actual owner have they actively pursued charges or can the person who leases? -
common knowledge that wildlife in this hemisphere have been conditioned to the successful use of these calls. you yelp on one of those and you're gonna have a real trophy coming in hot and loud. might be cougar in your lap though, opposed to a male turkey! Pygmy is really a stand up guy for allowing this opportunity.

Not nearly as much trad bow knowledge as others here but yea that sounds about right might even be a closer to 3lbs. problem is every bow "stacks" different getting to a particular draw length and has a sweet spot range where poundage doesn't change as much. A bow can feel lighter or heavier even at the same weight to me. Applies more to customs but certain bows are built to be tuned with a specific brace height with a specific draw length in mind. At 27" you're in about every mass produced bows wheel house though. Heavy stacking bows change more at and beyond 28" vs before. Just my own experiences I guess. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

4.5 is a respectable deer for anywhere. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

i will say i have a Bear Super Kodiak that draws nicer at same weight than cheaper bows. I have a Bruin custom recurve that draws even nicer than the Bear bow. so much so after shooting the Bruin I don't even want to pick up the Bear. Mine are all 50# at 28" and I feel like that is still too much to practice with.
