  1. I remember those cars, and yes you rip that thing out of there like you are starting a chainsaw or lawnmower. Same thing happens in the doctor office. One quick yank and it's over. The pain is when they insert the scope and fill your bladder with saline. Feels like you are gonna pee all over.
  2. Eddie glad to hear things went well for you. Like I said before, I feel your pain as I went through that in September. Put fresh lemon in your water and it will clean everything out and help take away that burn. Just wait until that stent has to come out. They put it in while you were asleep and it comes out when you are awake. It is 30 seconds of pure hell. Good luck and hope you feel better. Once the stent is out you should be back to normal.
  3. That pole is used when you are out hunting and the mailman stops by to "make a delivery"
  4. Already made reservations in November for this coming August at Fish Creek Pond in the Adirondacks. Spent a week there last year tent camping and had a blast with two other families. Can't wait to do it again. May hit someplace closer for a long weekend before August but will be a spur of the moment decision. Just got a dusting of snow and already I'm sick of it. Need some warmer, drier weather to get the corn hole boards out!!
  5. Ok let's caption what the dude on the left is thinking. This should get a few laughs.
  6. Armkb quit hitting POST. Same thread about 10 times.
  7. Nice buck. I also see a Bud,Labatts, and a Genny can. Cheers to the successful hunter.
  8. Couple of sirloins, baked potatoes, and sugar snap peas. The kids did some serious damage tonight as did I. Time to hit the treadmill.
  9. Glad you read that post about journals and shared your Dad's journal with us. Very cool and awesome picture. There is a whole section of member journals from the past few years on here that should keep you busy reading for a day or two.
  10. Dick's and Wal-Mart in Vestal NY asked me on more than one occasion to see my pistol permit when I was buying .22 ammo. It even came up on the register screen. They asked me if this purchase was for a pistol or rifle. I wasn't getting my permit out, so I said rifle. My FIL just bought .380 ammo for his buddy as a Christmas gift and they asked him for his permit before they sold it to him.
  11. Don't forget to bring your pistol permit with you if buying any ammo that is sold in a pistol caliber. Most major retailers ask for it now, at least in my area.
  12. Haha great minds think alike. I haven't had a greasy burger since August or even a single French fry but my wife asked me what I wanted for dinner tonight. I had a craving and ended up at Five Guys and brought home burgers and fries for the whole family. Man was that tasty!!!
  13. This guy should be able to help you http://www.funfactz.com/images/facts/belly-button-fluff-collection.jpg
  14. Go Red!!! I admit I over did it this holiday season as well. I'll start my running routine up again this week to get back on track. Good luck on your diet.
  15. Nice. Congrats. Sounds like you guys had fun out there.
  16. Well the grilled medallions were totally Awesome!!! Cooked perfectly and the kids loved them. The backstrap was easy to sear and bake off but did not turn out as I expected. It wasn't bad but it wasn't spectacular. I will need to try again with a different stuffing.
  17. 10-6 is mediocre? Isn't that the Chiefs record too?
  18. Yup, you make mistakes and you lose. Same old Jets. Guess now both teams can concentrate on their golf games.
  19. TC - I like your daughter's choice of beverage in pic 2!! Lol, isn't that the beer you drink when you want to drink 12 beers? Must've been out fished that day. Don't worry, we've all been there. Hahahaha
  20. You aren't alone. Look at this pic made of toe nail clippingshttp://www.humorbabaca.com/upload/fotos/fotos_6042_caveira.jpg
  21. Awesome memories being made right there. Congrats to you and your son.
  22. Cool thread. I have a few pics I,ll share. First is Fish Creek in the Adirondacks. Woke up to this sunrise on our first morning. Second is one of many Smallies I caught this summer in the Susquehanna River. Third and fourth are my kids with a few largemouth. We fish this pond alot and keeps them entertained, hence the smiles.
  23. So reading this thread got me in the mood to try to make a stuffed venison backstrap. I took a 10" smaller backstrap and butterflied it. I spread chopped garlic, diced onion, and crushed townhouse crackers seasoned with garlic pepper in side. I then sprinkled some parmesan cheese inside too and drizzled with some olive oil. I folded it over and used toothpicks to hold it together. I then used a dry rub on the outside and wrapped it in foil and refrigerated overnight. My plan is to pan sear it to get a good crust on the outside in a cast iron skillet and finish in the oven for a few minutes. Can't wait to try this in a few hours. I didn't want to go to the store so I used what I could find in cupboards. I will post before and after pics. I also took the other half of the backstrap and sliced it into medallions and marinated in Italian dressing for the kids. I will grill those later as well.
  24. Happy Birthday Doc. Enjoy the day.
