    Mature deer will react to pizz just as they react to human scent left on brush or plants. Young deer will walk up to about anything in the woods.

    CrossBOW does propel an arrow so i guess it would be called archery. Ny will have either full inclusion or will make it have its own season and require the purchase of another tag.

    My question would be...How many mature bucks have you taken after pizzing around your stand? I would not make it a habit if you are hunting the real deal.

    Early bow injury could have forced him to shed out. Injury may not kill him but set's him back.

    True That! Plus low hunter numbers, Cold weather and a late 2nd rut says you have a decent chance of laying eyes on him again this year!

    They say to order a size up if you go with the Impacts. I did and they are still snug with a warm sock. A normal sock the fit is great and so far i have only worn a normal sock with not even a chill. Cant wait till late season to really test them out.

    Go to Baffin.com and pick your poison. I have the Expedition's rated for cold i will never see so should never see a problem. So Far...So Good!

    Yeah i went with the top of their line of boot. Cold feet doing anything is no longer a concern. Sweet Boot's!

    Yup! $289.00 might sound steep but your right...If your feet get cold in their boots you have other issues.

    If they are not ON your property you should not be saying a word. That's not against the law sitting on the line? If they cross and you see then have at it. Not sure when/how you find time to kill a deer? 7-8 posts on this site alone just in the last couple hours. Maybe leave the phone at home and fill a tag? Just a thought!

    lol..Yup, Drunk, Laughing and just waiting to do it again later this year or next for sure. Will just get easier as time goes on.

    The buck on the left may get mounted so it's by the back leg route. The center buck didn't quite make the cut for mounting. We always like them to drain out if we are at camp a few days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Lot's of lives will be saved this year. All the weather will keep hunters out and the deer safe.

    If you are going to use scent you will do much better using fresh local scents from Ny processors.

    Wrong..Most would either be to lazy or find they dont have what it takes to be a Bow Hunter. Shorter gun season in the North 1 Buck tag for every hunter used in any season they want Make every buck be checked in at check stations. No gun's in any part of the Rut.

    A little "Den Work" is probably the only way to really get rid of a good number of Vermin.

    Enjoy the meat but now its the thrill of beating the smartest animal in the woods on its term's. Enjoy the woods .peacefulness and fun at camp but the hunting itself takes more than just killing any deer as that is a pretty simple task at any season but to only find,hunt and harvest a mature buck is only what the real hunt is about.
