True and I have no problem helping someone but point is. No Ar and not the big bucks on the park in the numbers? But they stopped the Ar so I am sure word will get out that the place sucks and not many big bucks around. Lol

Well the first answer is 53...Still more than able to scale the walls of the Park for sure. The next sad thing is that not everybody will be happy with every choice made when it comes to deer hunting. But...The numbers are on the side of bigger is better these days and thats where the money is at. I can tell you from hunting the park the last 18 seasons straight that before Ar started you could rent a cabin about any time, a year after they started Ar a person had to rent a cabin for the whole week to have a cabin for opening day, Now you have to rent a cabin for 10-14 days ahead just to be on for opening day. People know and will pay whatever it takes to play when it comes to big whitetails. Just the way of the world today. If you dont dig deep you will have no place to hunt on private land, If you have good hunting land now that you hunt on for free i could just about promise you that there are other hunters in that area thinking about leasing that property out from under you.

They did for last year. Word has it they are bringing it back but not sure why 8M is not on the list they put out. Their thinking was that to many undersized bucks were being found but the workers that i know on the park say that most of the dead are found during bow season. With the park being so close to the private land they say that the deer are being shot outside the park and being found on the park.

Most times the older you get in hunting you opt out for bigger deer and not little deer or killing higher numbers of deer. That all came in the younger years. Todays world screams for bigger higher scoring deer and most are willing to do..and pay what it takes to get to that point.

LOL....Depends what your trying to be respected for? Many would not give that dressed up style of person the time of day because of how most of that kind carry themselves.

No i think this will get interest because its not the brightest thing to do. I like the Ar spots i hunt down yonder but we sure dont need Ar up here i the North. Why is 8M not on the list or did i overlook it? Now if they would doing something that would work like cutting the season in half of taking guns out of the rut they may get something positive done.

They may have more to fight with if they at least had 1 case they could fall back on. If this was not a political disease to grab federal money and support unneeded jobs they would fight what has really proven to spread the prions. They have proven hands on science that Corn and Alfalfa carry and spread the prions yet they have never once stopped the in country and export sales from CWD positive crops!!! They know CWD is doing no harm to any herds or hunters in any states but its pretty easy money and their way to try to push their agenda.

I still carry 3-4 tree climbers with me when i take longer walks say on the bottom of the Park or up at hunting camp. There are always a few easy trees or even fell trees to walk up on and find a great sit. Screw one in where a branch is missing and up to the next one ya go.

Cut on Contact Stingers are the only way to go for low poundage. You will love the pass thru's time after time with a blood trail that anyone could follow....

LOL...I am glad you didn't spend a lot of time searching because you wont find a single case. Even in 100% positive brain and node whitetails there as never been prions found in urine. It just goes along with Ny;s way of thinking...Kinda like the Safe Act. You will still be able to buy it off the shelf or if your smart off your local farmer...Just like the shelves of bait in a no baiting state! and they will never be able to press the law unless they catch you pouring it on the ground. One would think if they were smart they would sell only Ny made Urine...I mean they talk so proud of being a CWD state-- Have to test to find it and they dont test squat-- But then the money would stay in Ny and the state could throw another Tax on the stuff.

At the end of the day I manage my properties for things I like to eat...not things that like to eat what i like to eat!

Show the Science that shows the CWD Prions ever found in any Whitetail Urine and someone may take note? We will be waiting!

Yup myself I would have been out all night or next morning at daylight but that's not easy for everyone. One thing I would do is get a lease on that property if possible. Before he does!!!

Thats all well and good..When the Yote's or anyone else pays my Tax bill i may have a different mindset but yes until then i will use and protect my land and the animals i want on it and remove and decimate the ones i dont. Regardless of what someone sitting in an office somewhere thinks that they know what is better for all!

There are many that are never shown for obvious reasons. One only has to check out Antlers website to see many of the ones guys did want to show. I would guess for every big buck shown there is one or two not.

Yup that will be just like the Urine ban if Ny is ever dumb enough to send thru. It will never be able to be put into action unless they see you pour it on the ground. Hunters are finally seeing thru all the agenda pushers and smoke and mirrors and doing what they need to do to keep the animals healthy thru the rough months. This year has been a cake walk for them so far in most parts of Ny but a little help sure wont hurt them.

We do that with many. It's easy to show a bunch of different bucks at the sports shows.

Maybe make it a Camo skull and that would hide the different colors. Just mix up the stuff and dip the skull.

Yes that water is about 20ft high or better. Many times I have went down to stands to find 3-4 inches of mud and crap covering the stand. There are many places on the park that have walls like that and the deer in those areas never see many people. They can live to the age they need to be to get trophy size. There are many places that you can walk right to the bottom but like any other place, that's where you find other hunters. Make your own path and you may never see another hunter to deal with.

That's what we all wake up every morning for. Many will say... I am meat this food that but deep in our loins this is what every hunter hopes to see. Period! Places to get some age on them is all it takes. We have all the other factors.
