I usually don’t see Prison City anywhere when I am buying beer. I should stop out there more often, only about 20 minutes away from me.

Can’t wait to check that out. I’d ask how was it, but I’m sure it was dam good!

In the Taj Mahal for an hour or so, then doing 2 man drives for the morning. Tracks all over. No deer seen. Got to get em moving! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk -
Christmas Eve is the biggest part of Christmas celebration for my family, This year, everyone has said they won’t be coming, so it will be just my 2 daughters, SIL and a baby grandson. My buddy and his family may come, but I am not counting on it. Very subdued from the usual 30 or so all seated at one table. I’m very sad about it, but it is what it is. Still going to do the Feast of the Seven Fishes, but it will be more mainstream fish - Baked Salmon, Shrimp Cocktails, Sushi, Fried Haddock, Fried Calamari (Rhode Island style is the new favorite) hopefully Clam and Anchovy Pasta as an appetizer. Christmas Day they want pizza, but I am going to push for a Prime Rib or maybe lasagna. We do chill out for Christmas Day.

This is our first tree planted from seedlings we planted here 15 or so years ago. I went down looking for a Charlie Brown tree and was surprised to find one with perfect shape and size. All credit go to my wife and youngest daughter for for final decor. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Looks like the 4th is getting a little fuzzy!

Standard Transmissions...How many can operate one ??
Otto replied to Pygmy's topic in General Chit Chat
My first two vehicles were standard. I had some experience on the farm with stick, but as a daily driver the Renault Alliance got a bit of a beating while I learned. My second car, a Toyota Celica, had 6 speeds and a real tight gear box. So much fun to drive! I still miss that car. Sold it to my brother and bought it back from him two years later. I traded it in for a family trickster Jeep, which when I asked the salesman if I could get it in standard, he laughed and said, you don’t want it in standard, believe me. -
Acceptable because there are deer antlers on it.

Some nicknames come naturally and are widely accepted, others are thrust upon them and forced to stick. I have a buddy that everyone calls J-lo. He hates it, we all love it. Treestand names can be like that too. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

First guess is he wants to know about Naked Stand, but there is an outside chance he is more interested in the JAn Brady stand.

And that is why you are a STUD @Lawdwaz Cool story! Truly an epic day!

I love little mementos like that to remember people who have passed. Every time you look at them or use them it is like they are still there with you. Something nice to hang onto. I hope your kids will feel the way you do many many years from now.
