If it is sliced thin and on a steep angle, it is a very flavorful and inexpensive cut of meat, worthy or any summer picnic! Also keep it to medium rare, and on the rare side if at all possible. Tacks, dish looks delicious! Mushrooms make it!

Santangelos in Liverpool. Can’t wait for it to re-open!

Did you ever have a pasta omelette? Layer a sauté pan with leftover cooked pasta, plus any other ingredients you would like to add, warm well, then pour in 2 or 3 scrambled eggs and a good portion of grated cheese. Have some tomato sauce warming up on the side. Cover with lid until firmed up. Put a thick layer of tomato sauce on a dish, slide omelette on top of that, then a little more sauce on top of it all, along with another hit of grated cheese. This is a popular dish at one of our local Italian restaurants.

I have a Kombi unit that I use with a blade on it to trim under horse fencing. Lots of power. I use the small chain saw attachment often too. It comes with the string trimmer head, but I hardly ever use that. I have another Stihl at camp that I use 2 or 3 times a year, always starts right up. Can’t go wrong with Stihl!

Wet plants at night along with cooler weather promote fungal development. The leaves don't have time to dry off without the heat and drying effect of the sun.

You water when needed not on a schedule. Look at the plant leaves, are they upright and erect and not limpy . (have at it @Pygmy). Dig some soil away and see if it is moist an inch or two below the surface , if it is, you are ok. (I think Pygmy will chime in on this one too.) When it is very very hot and sunny, you may need to water everyday, but that is usually just a stretch in July August time. You are already deeply watering, so that’s good. And water the soil not the plant. I prefer to water morning or afternoon, but not in the evening. My preference based on what my father taught me. Sometimes your schedule says not to wait and you have o water in the vending, it’s no big deal. Don’t forget your fertilizer. At least every 2 weeks. I am not sure what a thin layer of grass clippings will do???? It is not enough to prevent weed growth or provide any compost? Maybe possibly, add a small dose of nitrogen? Maybe Tacks knows something??? I like to see dirt around plants, especially vegetable plants. Even flowers. Mulch is for shrubbery and trees. IMHO. Hoe the dirt to keep it loose, so air and water can get to the roots, and it also disturbs the tiny weed growth you can’t even see.

I think I figured out @Bionic ‘s secret ingredient in his spice mixes - COCAINE! Because this stuff is addicting! We had it on grilled chicken split breast tonight and I put a bottle of Dino BBQ on the table for dipping, but I never used it.

I was out till 830, no turkeys seen or heard. I did see a yote close and a deer 15 yards away. Found a turkey feather and picked it up for good luck. Hope it works soon, my season ends Saturday, make or break by then. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

We had enchiladas, using ground beef with Bionic Cow Massage, and Mighty Taco hot sauce. So it was sort of Taco Tuesday here too!

My day was just made! Saw a doe laying down about 150 yards away in the field. Then I noticed 2 very wet and wobbly fawns trying stand up! She's licking them and they are nursing too. Awesome sight! Going to sit here and keep an eye on them for a while, hope a turkey comes out to see it too! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Slept in and went out at 720. Busted setting up. Waited 1p to see if it really flew off. No response to my calls so got up to move. Busted again. Stupid move on my part. Should have been up early early! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Cory, what kind of sprayer did you use? I am thinking of buying one but not sure what to get.

NYTracker has is right. The plant may have been hit with frost at the nursery or while you had it. Not looking good. If it does not rebound, go back and ask for a new plant. They will probably give it to you.
