Ha- we take our 6th and 9th graders there every year for team building courses(high ropes and low obstacles). I found a dead-head 4 point there this year and of course took it home to donate to the science classroom. Always see deer there and mentioned to our guide that i hunt and would happily help remove the nuisance from the property. You would have thought I suggested starting a forest fire or chaining up my class like the California family does by her reaction to my proposal. Watch your A$$! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m at Teacher College (Columbia) today for teacher detention (aka conference). Since I am NEVER in the City unless I am at one of my daughter’s shows, I have no idea if I am anywhere near the places you are talking about. Pretty sad that when I come to her shows, she (13) is leading me around trains and subways and streets-Walking around Manhattan is like trying to find my tree in new woods in the dark of morning with no moon or flashlight! I fished peloton in the summer- sometimes I sneak a float tube in there before the staff wakes up! Good bass-never caught a trout but also never targeted them there. Hey the $26 included some spike too so I really made out—-NOT! This guy is the only shop in town and I knew I was taking a beatin’- I look at it as $26 for 3 hours of relaxation and entertainment(hell thats two rented flat warm beers at yankee stadium) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did I forget to post my ice fishing fun to celebrate MLK Day with my Brittany. 7 bass and 2 pickerel in about 2 1/2 hours on Canopus lake in Fahnstock State Park. Fun day after a frustrating start- couldn’t find bait($26 for a dozen shiner and some spikes-WTF!!), lake I was going to fish was closed(park authorities said ice was too thin!!), etc. All on tip ups with medium shiners.
