  1. River Run Through it: The Lord has blessed us all today...it’s just that he’s been particularly good to me! (I’m usually on the listening end of that quote by the way!) “Buck/Dow down...bring the sled!” That’s the first text sent from my buddy or myself when success comes our way. 2. if you bumped the amount of applesauce and maybe went with a chunkier variety of “sauce” I wonder if that would give more/better apple flavor- maybe dice up a Granny Smith in there too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. By the way, R.I.P. Charlie. I spent a good many hours trying to apply his research to where I hunt and he clearly was a true dedicated master of what he loved most...those who read, watched and listened to him benefitted greatly from his life’s work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Why am I doing this? Why bother? Anyway here we go... You say antlers rule the day- he say no one cares about antlers anymore. BOTH are extremist statements that cannot be verified as truth since BOTH statements are subjective and broad stroked. Many (Notice I didn’t say ALL) would probably agree (also a non-verifiable statement) that hunters should hunt and harvest what is good for them(legally of course) regardless of what YOU think everybody else SHOULD think(cuz you know what’s best for US-or is that best for you and your business). 5. How can someone who is so against others pushing their agenda on others continually push their agenda on everyone else? When will people stop using such broad brushes to try and paint all hunters in the same way and just let people do (legally) and say (respectfully) what they want. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks for the posts Rac! Good to live through your hunts Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. And yet the prices are 5 star...with an 18% gratuity tacked on with a note that says the servers cannot receive the tips ... the 18% goes towards their graduation fees...that’s BS but whatever- great overnight regardless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Is it rude to ask what Dinsdale and Grizz do for a living and if they are looking to adopt a 40+ yet old son (ME!) with a wife and 3 kids??? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I too would wait for the land owner to arrive after calling and give him half the meat and properly remove any blood sign I left I his fallen leaves. Please know that I also never remove the tag from mattresses, roll through stop signs in parking lots, jaywalk, check a text while driving or, God forbid, speed. I also read the entire disclaimer before clicking “I agree” C’mon Man! Grab YOUR deer and go about your day-if I see the owner later I’ll let him/her know about the recovery and walk her/him through the process if so desired. Bigger fish to fry! 10. You actually recommended a place up there (crew or something) for me to go a few years back when I couldn’t get in CIA. American Bounty Some things were real good...sweetbreads, dessert, wife’s pork chop. My meal was overly salted and our waiter was horrible. Overall it was a good time (probably mostly cuz the Mrs and I escaped for a night!) but not sure the meal was worth the cost. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Give my very aging Brittany (14 in August) once last dance over some pheasant - took him once this year and he did well (okay good) but struggled. He was awesome on one bird he found, flash-pointed and kicked, and my buddy WHIFFED! I would love for Trico to scent one, point one and get a chance to retrieve one more time- if I could record it....wow! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Ok I’ll ask...CANT BIZ JUST START A 2018 THREAD???? What better way to show your new employer (congrats by the way!) your go “get ‘em” style then by taking the bull by the horns and just START THE F’ing THREAD!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I follow this recipe for osso bucco. https://www.thespruce.com/venison-osso-buco-2313773 The only difference for me is that is remove all the bone (and made a separate venison stock) and just cut each shank in two or three chunks....made over 15 pounds of this this year and all who tried it(even non-venison eaters) loved it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. C’mon man...I just playin’ and absolutely infatuated by the depth and breath of your knowledge of “beer”(if what you post is actually beer)..uh oh...now I crossed the line!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Hahah...sadly you are the winner! Things really slow down around here. All we hear from is drunk TF, conspiracy Pyg’s, and a Biz wanting a 2018 thread to start for those NOT LIVE FROM ANYWHERE! Haha...I miss 2017 already!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
