  1. We are in West End Ave somewhere. I don’t do the details- I said, “hey let’s go to Nashville…” then she does that rest and I am happy. I did notice a White Castle not far so that AWESOME!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Mama Crappy and I are heading to Nashville next weekend for a quick get away. I know @Moho81 and @Biz-R-OWorld are also going in October (suckers!!!!). Where MUST we eat, drink and be entertained? I’m a big fan of the local food establishments off the beaten path as opposed to the “tourist trap” chain-ish type places. Rumor has it @The_Real_TCIII has some Intell to share. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Yet another reason why we all need to do our part and remove the woods of killer does! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I’ll be in Nashville next weekend for our 20th anniversary…Average minds think alike! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Is there a full moon somewhere in the middle of that to make it more palatable?!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Hey…you know nothing of where I live!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. They also just lifted/shifted blame to summer camps. Unvaccinated children (they can’t be!!) no longer are REQUIRED to wear a mask but it is strongly recommended they do indoors but it’s up to each facility. AKA….kids get sick because you let them go masklesss= camp’s fault! Parents are pissed cause your keeping them in masks= camp’s fault! Thank you government agency for making my life harder! My tax money at work! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. All from seed I started too late- but they are catching up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Live stream? Post the link! I just ordered a Clarence cow bell that I will deploy appropriately from the SE! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Great story and buck. I also appreciate the “arrow through the carcass” pic. I think if more do that we all benefit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. The garden is loving these all day soaking rains we are getting!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Yup…exactly! And again some of the spot the fly line is in is ripping water so you can get away with some disturbance. The Neversink is an awesome river for this type of pocket fishing too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The auasabile wulf floats great and why it’s my primary fly for this type of fishing where the fly skitters(better than skips?) a cross the surface with very little disturbance to the surface. It was a technique taught to me by a guide on the ausable 20 years ago where most of the fishing is pockets of huge boulders. I’ll cast the fly beyond where it want it. Heavily mend the fly line which will skitter the fly to the zone I want to hit (closer to me). It’s a mend that would absolutely blow up a calm stretch of stream with steady feeding trout but all bets are off when trying to get a 2-3 second clean drift in the right spot. It’s also quite tiring…constant casting, mending, pick up and do it again. I’ll run the same fly through the same seam 10 times before being convinced no one is home or he’s smarter than me! Then I’ll move down to the next one…and come back later if I “know” a fish is there! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Atta boyz!!!! Hope it was a great day! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Vinegar Marinade on some thighs and a chef-made venison sausage(very good sir and thank you!) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. No no…that’s the REAL BIG ONE standing out of the shot! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Stick and move! The drifts are quick but if you catch the eye of a fish they will chase it down. The strikes can be bass-like on top water! There are some different tricks(stacking your fly line, aggressively mending and skipping the fly to the zone, mending before the fly hits the water, etc) that you can get away with. since the water is moving so good, its totally different (and more tiresome!) than trying to match a hatch on a steady flowing pool Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Sounds like a small town judge who wants to make a point about trespassing and littering on private (thank you for that Your Honor). It seems like he is being presented as a “tough guy/ no nonsense” judge (all compliments for those who don’t break the law). He may charge and find ( I have no idea if these are the correct terms)in favor of the land owner because that’s HIS DECISION or interpretation of the law. Does that mean it’s right…I would say maybe!?!? Now would this case continue with an appeal or would this POS trespasser just settle up and call it a day?? Another judge/lawyer/LOE/DEC may have differing OPINIONS (that’s a legal term I think) as to how the handle this infraction and offer a different opinion to different people (seems to be our current cause of our little squabble!). My sisters boyfriends neighbors cousin from Canada has a friend who knew this guy who drank at a bar with a bartender in law school….he said, Shoot more does, drink more High Life, Do what YOU know is right. 19. Have you seen my mommy? She is right above you now DONT shit on my basil! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. 5 innings pitched, 5 hits, 3 walks 2 k’s 2 runs (none earned-bases loaded full count gets the 5 hitter to pop out to right-2nd baseman doesn’t yield to RF and drops it. 78 pitches …49 strikes. 2-1 loss We couldnt get the right hit at the right time: also had a runner make the last out at third with lead off coming to the plate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I always start above the Boulder and have yet to locate one sitting in the “mythical void” of the rivers flow upstream of the Boulder…seams make me smile Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. 63….take a guess at the spot its not “mine” nor is it secret Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. 1-2…strike out, walk, double versus a terrible team..19-0 after 3. Pitching game 2 soon Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. SWEET! 3 pitch innings are my FAVORITES!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. You ever look at a spot and even if they aren’t rising you know they are there? That’s the case for this guy. ( and yes, I know my net has a few holes!) One last spot on the Beaverkill before baseball… Above the red mark this beauty chased an Ausable Wulf, took three leaps and flew downstream to where I ended up landing him Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
