Cabin Fever

I use OnX alot for finding property lines, dropping pins on sign, cam locations, and stands. Sure helps me keep track of 16 cams! LOL

Got an unexpected call at 12:30am last night that my daughter needed a ride home. The DD wasn't ready to leave yet, but she was. Got back in bed at 1:30, but it took another hour or so to get back to sleep. Could not get up when the alarm went off at 5:00.... Oh well. Cell cams were absolutely popping last night and this morning after daylight! Got a couple big boys moving, including a new one! (The first pic was taken 100 yards from my house! LOL)

Yeah that sucks! I hate to see one lost to a vehicle! He was a dandy too...

Missed crossing paths with the piebald by 20 min tonight! LOL As I was at the truck, I started getting cell cam pics of him, where I had just left!

As I was approaching my stand, I realized the “little stream” I have to cross, was now a raging river that was knee deep! My hiking boots are full of water and I’m soaked up to my knees!! On top of being under dressed! I can’t wait to leave!! LOL Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Rained here all day. Radar looks like the rain is past us now. Cell cams have been dead!! Have 7 out, but the only pics have been of a coon in the past 36hrs! Never seen them so dead before and started wondering if there was an issue transmitting pics or something. I even went out to my nearest cell cam to test it, but it’s working fine. Guess the critters have just been laying low, before and during the storm. Thought it might be a good time to jump in the stand for an evening hunt. Haven't been seeing much during the day in the yard, so I thought I'd put a cam out to see what's going on at night. Still there!

I seldom get pics of bucks with drop tines. This buck just showed up the other night, but he's welcome to stay!! Gotten pics of him on 3 different cams in the past few days. My son hunted a stand until dark the other day and I got a pic of this buck walking by the stand ~20min later! LOL

I've only seen 1 rub so far and that was made yesterday (10/14). No scrapes yet, other than the ones I've made in the last couple of days...

Wanted to check cams today anyways, so I thought I’d sit in the stand for a couple of hours. As I was pulling in, I received a cell cam pic of the piebald buck about 400 yards away near another stand. Would be cool to actually lay eyes on him. Man is it ever warm!! Weather man is saying a 20+ degree temperature drop between Friday and Sunday! This should kick activity up a couple of notches!
