  1. After last fall, I decided to go back to fixed blade. I spent a lot of time reading reviews and decided to go with Grim Reaper Hades Pro Series. Haven't shot them yet, but they are suppose to shoot just like field points and leave great bloodtrails.
  2. Nice video! Have you done similar videos with different species of trees?
  3. Wow! Who tanned them for you? What are your plans for them?
  4. Heart of gold Brian! Best wishes and prayers to T with his treatment!
  5. I haven't received mine yet. My son got his last week.
  6. That's great Bob!! I admire the work you do and the service you provide for the sport! You give up a lot of your time for others and I'm sure they appreciate it! Thanks! Any idea where this event will be held?
  7. OK, I needed a "fix" , so I started re-reading through last seasons "Live From The Woods"! I'm 120 pages deep so far! I certainly haven't been reading word-for-word though! It's entertaining and brings back memories of last falls hunts and it's cool to see members kills and stories. Interesting to see how the rut progressed too. If you're jonesing for season, you might enjoy re-reading the "2020 Live From The Woods" to pass the time! 8. Do they really taste like perch? Damn, I’ve always wanted to try walleye, because I love perch. I even got a charter one day targeting walleye, but we didn’t catch any! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Did you ever get the Tactacam Reveal X's in?
  10. Yeah, it's mighty wet out there! Glad I mowed yesterday, even though the yard really didn't need it, just as a precaution! Have lots of water pooling in various parts of the yard, so it'll probably be a while before I'll be able to get out there to mow again! Thank God the basement is staying dry though!
  11. Neat pic! If the date is correct (March 30th), that's too early for a baby turkey.
  12. Nice! Killer brows on the first one and that was about a month ago!
  13. Took a walk yesterday and noticed the crabapple and wild pear trees were loaded. Didn't see any acorns on the few oaks that I looked at though.
  14. I stopped by Runnings thinking I would get one stand to start with. They had 8 two days ago, but only had 3 left today!! Decided I better grab 2!! The guy said they would be getting more in, but didn't know when. I figured that putting these together will give me something to do in the garage on some rainy day...
  15. Great! I'm tired of fletching randomly coming off! I'm going to try QuickFletch on some arrows to see how it goes! Sure looks simple enough to do!
  16. I thought it was a great idea! I'm tired of puckering on my first and last climb in a ladder stand! I'm going to buy a couple of these in the very near future! That center support for the ladder is different too, compared to other stands, and looks more secure. BTW, after a quick Google search, these stands are cheaper ($199) at Runnings and Tractor Supply than anywhere else. I have a Runnings a few miles down the road that have several in stock, so I'll get there, instead of ordering from TS.
