    Managed to get the chill out of my bones! Heading back to the stand now. I usually see more deer at this stand in the afternoons, as opposed to mornings anyways.

    My son scored on this big buck yesterday afternoon. 22" spread. He's been getting trailcam pics of him, but laid eyes on him for the first time yesterday.

    Got up to go out, but I just can't pull it off this morning... Screw it!! My son shot a dandy yesterday afternoon that's hanging in the garage that we need to skin and cut up today anyways. Think I'll take him out to breakfast and then get started on his buck. I need a refresher on what the MOFO's look like before Saturday anyways.

    Sat another 4 1/2 hrs this evening and only saw 3 squirrels.... I'm off the couple of days. Not sure if I should hunt or just rest and recharge the next couple of days for gun season. This lack of deer activity is getting REAL old.

    Definitely a "humbling" season, that's for sure! LOL Made a tough decision to sell the family camp last spring, to help financially support my mother that has health issues and dementia. Just have to shift gears adapt. Oh well, no regrets!! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
