    Got up extra early to make sure I had warm enough clothes on deck and ready to go. I froze yesterday morning with my lighter gear on and it's 15 degrees colder now.

    I'm confident in my shooting, but I shoot a few arrows during season just to check my equipment. I'm paranoid I might have inadvertently bumped my sights or something stumbling through the woods. Funny that I just shot 6x yesterday, just for this reason. Still in the money, but it's a good confidence booster!

    Yeah... small doe, shot square in the shoulder with a .243, not a spec of blood, ran 200-300 yards... am I missing something? I would think that would have dropped her where she stood or broke her down temporarily anyways. Are you sure she was hit? Have you called Deer Search??

    Finally saw deer at 4:45. A 3pt and a nice big 6pt passed by at 5 yards. When I first saw the 6pt's rack at ~50 yards coming in, I thought he was one of the shooters. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    Checked a couple cams by my one stand on the way out this morning. This buck was running a doe around the stand for quite a while the other night (Wed.). She must have that "special" scent to her, as he had his tongue out and mouth open in all the pics. Oh, I know the feeling buddy.... LOL They're getting there!!

    I use to keep trailcams set on video facing my mock scrapes. I've had both fox and coyotes rolling in my mock scrapes, that were made with my own urine. Go figure!?
