My favorite hunting dog won’t hunt at all!! My Blue Weimaraner, Harley, is hands down the best dog we have ever had, but he is terrified of guns thanks to my boys when he was a puppy. Long story. Such a shame too because he is a hunter through and through. My best hunting dog was a Brittany. She was pointing and retrieving at 12 weeks. I had a Vizsla that was absolutely bonkers but was a decent hunter. Next pup will be an English Setter Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have a 2012 I bought last year from a guy in Erie. He bought it for his daughter for her 12th birthday. He had the maintenance records from the dealer. Oil was changed 1 time in 7 years...30 hours on it! Original tires and all. It looked brand new when I picked it up but for some scratches in the plastic. I put some mud tires on it and the thing is a beast. No belts, all gear driven. I will look at doing this tomorrow for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am currently using Cabela’s MT050 outer layers. Very happy with them, although it wasnt really too cold this year in WNY through regular season. I also have Cabela’s Stand Hunter base layers which are insanely warm, they don’t make them anymore for some reason. I can’t even wear them unless it it is below 20, or I’m a sweaty mess before getting to the stand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I got two texts from a neighbor at our lease the afternoon I shot my rifle buck asking "what did you shoot?" I replied How do you know I shot something? "I saw the blood and drag marks in the snow where you park"... ??????!!!!!. People suck sometimes, what are you going to do. I said "little doe" of course. -
I have only ever had success hunting before a storm one time. I shot a small buck right as the Snovember storm of 2014 rolled into WNY that Monday morning. By Tuesday morning we were buried.
