$1 around for .22???? Yesterday I bought a box of 525 .22LR for $98 on GB, it was painful. What people want for 357 Mag ammo is out of control, thankfully my son reloads, but the days of going out to shoot just for fun are over for now.

I just stopped in a place near me that sells gun safes, normally they have a ton on the floor. They had 3. The guy told me they are getting harder to get now. His comment was that there are a LOT of new, 1st time gun owners this year and they all want somewhere to keep the gun and ammo they really didn't even want to buy. Makes sense I guess, just like the CEO of Federal said, 7 million new gun owners this year, if every one buys 100 rounds that's 700,000,000 rounds they didn't expect to produce, and people are buying a lot more than 100 rounds.

Yeah, even worse now with the mail-in BS, the last one took me 4 weeks to get a gun added to my permit???? 4 weeks! I had to call and inquire about it, the had me on hold for 20 minutes while they found it then graciously spent the 10 minutes to process and send it out that day. Frustrating. It’s a tough process in NYS. It took my wife and I eight months to complete, we both received unrestricted permits. We purchased guns while waiting but there is no requirement in Erie county to purchase one at all. Yes it’s somewhat expensive for something that should be a right, but a small price to pay in my opinion. After obtaining the permit here I drove to Erie and walked out with a permit for PA in 15 minutes and $20 or $40 if I remember correctly. NY sucks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Tesla is on fire this week, my son works as an engineer with the battery development team in Buffalo/ Rochester and is investing all he can, he called me yesterday and said “Hey Dad, My Tesla stock went up $45k today!” I wish I had his brains and cash when I was in my 20’s.
