There is so much food out there right now it's crazy, they hit apples some days here and other days it's nuts. Kind of Like a buffet.

Just did my last cam check till October 1 morning, 2 new bucks I haven't seen the last 2 months. Nothing special but exciting none the less. Come on Thursday!

I have quick detach scope mount on my shotgun, if I'm in some thick places I pop the scope off.

40 on a good day but mostly 30 is my limit on deer.

30 mins before first light oct 1 in my stand, I have a group of does that like to come through in 2-3 bunches from 730-11 am. No shooter bucks on that cam but I have no problem taking A few does with that many showing up.

I'm going to put one rage hypodermic in my quiver and give it a shot, right next to my trusty thunderheads. I'm shooting a 425 grain arrow at 275 fps. My field points, Rage, and thunderheads all hitting the same spot.

Could probably get a good card game going in there waiting on the deer!

I like the wb, but love my nap Apache drop away, no way for the arrow to fall off that and o can shoot helical fletchings.

I've had better luck with a bleat and grunt. Messed with a spike horn one day, we grunted back and forth for Like 5 minutes!

I won't get in a hang on with out a harness, I still don't wear one in my ladder stands. Probably should.

Well I have started this year by setting my archery stands in pine trees so I don't get busted when the leaves drop, however I wear a gander mtn hat/ mask combo, it dosent interfere with my kisser. Sometimes I paint if I'm out all day.

I've never planted at tree but this may be the weekend I do since I have a house now -
I thought I was the only one being sketchy loading bloody body bags with deer in them into my car!

My axis 308 is a great shooter but if you can go for the higher up savage it already has a Nikon on it.

I gave up on wearing those damn things and just PAck unscented wipes to clean up now.

I e never had a problem killing them in 70 degree weather, you just need to find the right spot as there is a lot of food and they don't need to travel as much.

I had a pair that claimed to amplify the non loud sounds, they didn't. So I don't wear any for hunting but there great for the range.

I use a Dremel and then square end with a screw and sandpaper, works like a charm.

I tried that bow, I did not like the grip and how wide it was but it was shock free and light! Congrats on the new bow!
