    Personally, after dragging pee all over the woods for a few seasons, I got the sense it was useful for drawing in the young and more dumb beasts, but sent a message to mature animals that they were being hunted in those pee soaked areas. I stopped a few seasons ago. Now I only use home brew cover sent from boiled up acorns. I have being seeing a lot more mature deer. Other factors may also be at work but I don't wanna jinx things now. No pee for me this season

    CE does a good line of cheaper broad-heads that work great. WALMART no longer sells 'em I notice, but I have been getting mine off season on Amazon anyway. I sill have 2 new swhackers left over from last year also, along with several CE head types and that I bought up on sale years ago

    I use 3 ratchets on mine. One on the bar secured to the tree and 2 at top on the foot rest and seat. This is a rock solid arrangement I find. Ratcheting the bar down first makes solo tree stand erection a cinch also. I do not use the standard roping that comes with most stands. Too fussy
