    I killed a bear in Nova Scotia with my Marlin 336 in .35 Remington.

    I have a 3x9x40 on mine and love it.Don't need that much magnification but I already had the scope.It's a Bushnell Banner with a red dot in center of crosshairs.I love this gun and I am glad Wayne Co. went to rifle.

    I use wooden clothes pins with bright eyes on them.They work great.

    Traditional recurves are bows also but you wouldn't use the mechanicals on them.Crossbows use crossbow specific mechanicals b'heads.Every style of bows have different requirements.

    What's the big frikin deal if someone chooses to take their cell phone with them?You hunt the way you want and I'll hunt the way I want! It's not going to affect your hunt!

    I would purchase a tent blind.It will keep you scent to a minimum compared to a brush blind.

    Hey fasteddie,who are youThis is Dave from TTA.I miss having the shop,but things in my life changed and with elderly parents and getting older myself I just didn't have enough time to devote to my customers as I would have liked.Btw,getting hitched this Friday.

    BTW,there's a huge misconception that there isn't much drop between 20 and 40 or 50 yards.They actually don't have much more range than a modern compound.

    BTW,the Matrix 330 at 225 lbs.shoots up to 330 FPS.Some other compounds style xbows made by other companys at less than 200 lbs. shoot almost 400 FPS.As usually NYS regulations make no sense.

    I bought a Matrix also.Love the compact limbs on the Matrix over the other models.Also if you blow a string you can replace it in the field in less than 5 minutes.Not so with compound style crossbows.I can decock it also without shooting it.I'm not sure why NY went with the 200 lb. limit.Makes no sence.

    I had my own shop for almost 20 years.I made up special work order tags and would put all pertinate info on it and would attach to the arrow.If I had the vanes in stock I would do just one vane if all that's what was required.Usually while you wait.
