  1. Grizz is correct you will see the difference at low light or dark. In an case you know you have a buck moving in the day time. Good luck.

  9. Great pictures. If you want more accurate information as to when the deer are moving in that area set your date and time stamp. That 8 pointer is a brut.
  10. 40 years old and always do my own and my brothers and my fathers and cousins well you get the idea. We all help eachother it makes it fun and we now what we are getting back for meat. Nothing worse then steaks and hamburger that is full of nasty tailo.

  14. Last night I was getting the last of my gear out for opening day of bow. I got my back pack out that I keep my leafy camo in and man did it smell like doe sent. I left a bottle of doe sent in a zip lock bag in the pocket, it did not leak out but everthing in my back pack smells. My question is should I just let my camo air out or should I wash it (with no soaps or detergents) and then let it air out. What are your thoughts?
  15. Hard to say but because of the texture of the hair I would guess bear?

6P = yes 7J = NO first itme in 10 years I did not get 7J and I have heard of a lot of people getting turned down for it.
  17. My family will go through 4 -5 a year. My two girls will eat venison steaks any day over any beef steaks or pork.
  18. Is that one picture a doe with horns or is that just big brother with little brothers or sisters?

I have 3 stands I hunt out of. If I hunt the stand on the edge of the corn / soy bean field I like to be there at least an hour before light. My 2nd stand is on a hay field surrounded by apple trees except on the south end and that is how I enter the field so if sitting in the hay field stand I head in at daylight and still hunt on the way in. The 3rd stand is up in the hemlocks and again I like to be in that stand at least an hour before day light because of the deer patters in that area. Dark time walking I have two must: my flash light and my orange vest. Once day light comes and I am snuggled in my stand they both go in the back pack.
  20. Nice videos. While I was there I had to watch all of them. LOL
  21. There is a hope that some day we can hunt moose. Great pictures.
