  1. I will be at my son's wrestling match most of the day and will get home right about kickoff.....so thinking it will be milk and cereal this year
  2. As an out of Stater.....one thing NY isn't lacking in is Coyotes and Fox.
  3. I have used Dewalt with good results, I have used Milwaukee with good results only rigid I ever used wasn't a power tool so I cant speak for that one. I bought a cheap Kobalt drill that I am more than pleased with for a cheaper end drill. I have also driven Fords...alright......chevy suck.....Doing just fine with Dodge.
  4. I was thinking about tonight's supper since last night......still have no idea
  5. Yup and coal stove is only working at 50%. Waiting on a blower motor to be delivered on Tuesday. Needless to say hooded sweatshirts and blankets will be needed the next few days
  6. Yup eating lots of tag soup this year. Only filled 1 tag in NY and didn't fill any tags in PA. I will be sure to add some good tag soup recipes for others to enjoy!!
  7. I have seen several here in PA. Killed one a couple years ago and could have killed more. The one I shot stank really bad (not sure why).
  8. I would have to stick with the gun that I got when I was 12 years old from my Father. Good ole Remington 870 20 guage youth model. Even though I am 6'1 and 200 lbs that youth model fits me like a glove.
  9. I have never been involved in a "big" drive. However I have been involved with drives for the past 24 years. Like others, it is with guys I have hunted with my whole life. Might have 2 drivers and 3 watchers coordinated so we know where everyone is at. We have had some success but like others, its more about getting together with the guys and having a good time.
  10. Remington 7600 .280. Bought it when I was 14 and is the only rifle I own.
  11. Best tips I have is trying to stay dry as possible, keep a positive attitude (I mean after all your hunting) and if you don't think that is possible......go with Uncle Nicki's option #2
  12. I will sit til I get cold. Climb out of stand go for a walk and stop by some of the other guys, shoot the shit for a little and walk back to tree stand and climb back in for the rest of the day. Oh and head to the laundromat to get my clothes dry for Sunday.
  13. I wouldn't put it up the day before. Mine has a screw end that is separate from the umbrella part. I will screw that into the tree the day before that way all I have to do is pop the umbrella into the base part....wrap the strap around the tree and its done. Takes like 30 seconds. I have used tree umbrellas for the past 6-7 years. Always carry it in my backpack. Last year I sat on the ground in a brush pile and had no way to fasten it and my pants aren't water proof, so I stuck it between my legs and it worked great.
