    same one four times over a couple months. Docile and mellow dude. Could always tell it was him. He got free apples , I'd let me go. Other ones were snarling and trying to get at me. They don't come around anymore

    I've had the opportunity to eat a nuisance permit deer shot in July. Completely different in a great way. Berries, green grass ,fresh corn compared to browse and such in a winter deer.

    Might it be a gut pile they're on ? Had ravens on one and crows on another day after I shot my deer. Made for a lot of noise. Next day both were gone completely , yote's dragging off what was left I'm sure. Or did you see dead coyote ?

    When you fly into Buffalo airport at night you can see "glow in the dark deer " from the toxins around Aero Lake That lake is pretty good for catching 2 headed carp too.

    In years past I'd put deer on roof of Subaru Outback. No easy task. Stand in back seat with door open , swearing a bunch and already exausted from the long drag. Bought 2013 Outback which rides even higher than previous model. $220 stop at uhaul and I have a 2" hitch installed. Dealer wanted $580 for exact same thing. Deer carrier is piece of cake to get deer on. 2 from last week

    Every year out here : after first week , deer sightings by me are nil. Can't even blame hunting pressure as there is none. A week ago yesterday was great movement, Tuesday and today are bunk. Like a switch was thrown.

    I'm sure there are quite a few opening weekend hunters out there. Folks have already shot deer , deer are becoming less seen , weather getting colder , lots of contributing factors All I know is I'm on my way into stand. No weekend warrior here.

    9h Eagle/Bliss. 32 degrees /4 mph wnw wind. Little covering of snow. Man did the fog suck to drive in thru the hills. Downright scary at times. Even low beams bounced back Looking for a flat top today. Good luck everyone and enjoy the morning.
