I live in a 24x28 log cabin kit home. Cost was 28k for the structure. I put it on a slab with block walls for crawl space. I did everything myself with help from a couple buddies. Took us 8 days in total. I bought the worlds crappiest lull Telehandler and sold it when I was done for a small profit to save on Crane costs. Not counting well and sewer I finished it for just under 50k. It’s an open floor plan with 1 bedroom and bathroom down stairs and a loft master bedroom with a half bath. No, with two full or tighter chojes it’s very difficult to get both barrels regulated to same poi. With mod chokes it wasn’t noticeable but when the chokes got tighter it showed itself. I put a bunch of money into different chokes and machining them and got it close. I killed a few birds with it but never really liked carrying it and shortly after switched everything over to 20ga. I tried it,I used a mossberg HS12 which is a short 18” barrel “home defense” over under. It just never worked out as well as I would have liked. It was very very hard to get the 2 patterns to shoot the same. Even with a red dot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Although not ideal as a tracker you should be setting up your gear for the less than ideal shots. If you can track them without blood with blood feels like you’re cheating. I’m sure I will one day but I’ve recovered every buck I’ve hit while tracking. I wish I had those odds with the bow or gun when not tracking. I like my 35’s “rem, whelen or 358win” because they’ll go hooter to tooter or tooter to hooter and everything in between with 2 holes and I never have to worry about angles, just aim in the middle and they’ll find they’re way into the good stuff. Depends on the day and the dealer. Car dealers are something I can’t understand. My cousin is an assistant manager at a local Ford dealer and I have yet to buy a truck from him because he can’t match deals I can find elsewhere. How that makes sense I don’t understand. My last 3 trucks have been fords and I’ve went to him with the deals before paying elsewhere and every time he says buy it I can’t match it. Not much to explain, shop around for the lowest possible price. Shop around for the highest price for the trade/sale they don’t have to be to the same dealer. Ha, I’ve never been happier, I forgot how much I enjoyed not having a boss. It’s a good feeling brushing my teeth in the mirror knowing I did what I thought was right.
