Isn’t that what you’re for? The rich paying their FAIR share? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I had 11 moose sightings this deer season. There’s more Moses than deer on all of my cousins trail cameras every year. In maine I feel like the moose tend to stay lower in the adks I see most all of them up high. I also think that’s why there’s more moose than they realize, they’re not nearly as visible. Ruger Unveils New Lever-Action Marlin 1895 SBL Rifle

I’m definitely with you on preferring the tube load! So much easier to load and unload! So much so that I carry my Henry over my 16” 1972 Winchester 94 in 44mag although it’s almost 2lbs heavier. I carried a 16” 44 mag Henry most of this year and really enjoyed it. I wish they would make them a couple pounds lighter but other than that I really liked toting it! Why don’t you like the big loop? I think they look stupid and slow you down a bit while racking but that’s offset by how fast I can get my hand in the loop while bringing the gun to my shoulder. I never in a million years would have guessed I would be considering golf in my NY exit plan but it definitely is. Hell I’m giving up two ice fishing tournaments for a couple 4 day golf trips to myrtle beach this winter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don’t stay at a hole long enough to do that. But I’m sure it could work. If I don’t mark a fish in 5 minutes I’m moving, usually once I mark one I’ll catch one or two then have to move. Moving for Lakers is a lot different than panfish. A small move is 50yds most are 75-100yds. If I was going to put out some tip ups on LG they would be 6” under the ice with a small shiner for salmon. Faster setup and pickup and a lot more fun to catch! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m way too impatient to tip up fish but yes, minnows work. I would recommend suckers 5-10ft off bottom. In 40-80fow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A few hundred gun broker sales are a long ways from making up a 30,000,000 initial investment. I hope I’m wrong but I just don’t see it working out for them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I always thought I’d go north or west when I left NY but western NC/east Tn are gaining more and more momentum with ability to golf year round! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Obviously they have people way smarter than me that have decided that there is but I don’t see the market being very big, Especially for the big bores! 1300$ for a gun that is basically a toy for most isn’t something I see them selling tons of but I hope for ruger and the Marlin name that I am wrong! Haha, use something white towards the bottom, don’t ever put a bait in the water without scent on it. Lakers are a blast to catch through the ice! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Marlin made their name by selling quality firearms for a working mans price. Remington tried making a firearm under Marlins name with terrible quality but at a price point. Ruger had a choice when they bought Marlin to make a cheap gun or a quality gun. Looks like they’re going the quality route. Let’s hope they sell enough of them to keep the Marlin traditions going! Those prices are too rich for me to continue paying! Now that it’s looking like I won’t have a job holding me here I’ll be moving as soon as my daughter graduates in 2025. She can keep my house, I’m selling my land and am hauling my assets out of this crap hole of a state. I’ll probably sell my camp and just join a camp so I can continue to hunt the adks. Fat people have a choice not to be fat. I’ve been gainfully employed full time since I was 14. I am still employed by the state, I am burning vacation time. Not to mention I am self employed. When my time is out I will no longer be employed by the state because I refuse to get a shot I don’t need, don’t worry I won’t touch any unemployment money, I’ll leave that for your fellow voters. That was my setup, 2 3/4’s high brass game load of 6’s in the bottom and longbeards xr’s 5’s on top. Inside of 30 they got the 6’s and outside they would get the longbeards. Unless you’re getting into the 28’s or 410’s I don’t see an advantage in that setup anyMore with tss. Tss doesn’t shoot as tight up close like lead does. When I built my o/u setup it was to try to find a solution for all the missing I was having at birds inside of 10yds “every bird I’ve missed has been inside of 10yds.” Turns out the solution was to ship worrying about the 40 yd shot and setup to shoot them at 15-20yds, if they don’t come inside of 30 they live to fight another day. Why should I care more about them than they do? Obviously they don’t care about themselves if they’ve let themselves become obese. As the science has shown from the beginning if you’re fat, old, or have other aliments you’re an idiot if you don’t have the shot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
