For the first time in many years I put Front chains on the wheeler yesterday. It is impossible to steer without them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Remington 1911 R1

Those early R1’s were a great gun! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I’ve found it’s impossible to keep them so I’ve worked on nesting habitat and predator control and they keep returning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Turn it to 1 o’clock after a few hundred rounds the rounds will fly by with no issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nice seeing birds but February sightings mean very little for may Turkey seasons. From around the 1st of Dec until grass greens up there isn’t a Turkey within 5 miles of my farm. But they’re always here for the killing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Oh , I’m absolutely with you. Since vaccine mandates changed my career I started advertising my side gig “light excavation and landscaping” and have basically doubled my rates. The stupid numbers I’ve thrown out and got accepted is insane! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Maybe but it’s not going to happen. I’m going to shoot. I’ll do without other things and continue shooting multiple times a week. I think ammo will go back down because supply and demand works both ways. There are a number of people who won’t pay the higher prices and this will bring down demand as well. Put me on that list too, 3.5” is downright unenjoyable and I have ZERO use for them in the Turkey woods. Even in a 20ga I use a high brass game load 2 3/4” plated #6. It kills them very dead and I haven’t missed/wounded one since making the switch. If you hunt the fields and are interested in shooting turkeys at 60yds maybe 3.5” have a place but that ain’t me. At the worst maybe? I never stopped buying it and most I payed was 28$ a box. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok… Op, I’m a lifelong Leupold customer because of the customer service they’ve given me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Vortex or Leupold

It’s kind of messed up to take advantage of the company that offers this program to those that HAVE EARNED it. When you sign up it specifically says this program is only for you and not for gifts or resale… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Wow, those tight patters scare me! Do you have an optic on your gun? When The bead is covering more than your pattern it’s very easy to miss/wound turkeys. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Picked at them this morning, landed 8. They were a lot less aggressive! Wind picked up and I have to move equipment to my next job so I left at 10:30. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Jigging, todays biggest was 29” didn’t weight it because it was so cold and I wanted to get it back in the water but I would guess 8-9lbs. Average is probably around 25-26 about 5lbs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yea, brutal conditions but the bite has been on fire. I’ll be back at them in the morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

16 lakers today and 1 short salmon today. Wind blew me off but they were still biting! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

In my opinion it doesn’t matter the age after they’re 2.5, you have to be in the right place at the right time. You and I hunt completely differently tactics wise but for me to kill a buck tracking they almost have to screw up, 9 out of 10 beds I come to when tracking a buck the buck has chosen a spot making them unkillable. It’s curious more than verification. The three I’ve had aged were 5,6 and 9yrs old. They were all shot tracking and the 6yr old myself and everyone that looked at him thought he was a huge 2 or 3 yr old based on everything but his rack, he was maybe a 90” 10pt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My best day of the year, iced 22 lakers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lake George again today. Late start but -6 has me moving a little slow this morning. Hopefully they bite like they were yesterday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

To me the older the buck the harder to kill, a 6yr old has survived twice the hunting seasons, coyote chases etc. While tracking I can usually tell if they’re 4+ by their feet, stagger and stride but like everything it’s not perfect. I always try to kill the oldest biggest buck in the woods, racks that aren’t giants mean very little to me. I couldn’t even tell you where 3 of the last 4 bucks I’ve killed antlers are. Gcwr has nothing to do with payload. Gcwr is what you can legally haul. Payload is what the manufacturer says the vehicle can safely haul. Paylod is the weight on the 4 tires minus curb weight. Just don’t want you to get jammed up or hurt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
