  13. Very nice pics! We have a lot of Ospreys around here. Two years ago we had one nesting in the town ballparks on a light tower and an eagles nest as well. I watched them all summer long during baseball season. One day I watched the osprey dive bomb the eagles nest repeatedly. They would all come flying in with fish from the river. 19. I live close so I will try to pick a cooler, only 80, day to go. I like to go, it is a fun day with the kids. When it is hot though it can be brutal.
  20. nice pics!! I think yote do more damage to small game population than to deer for the most part.
  21. I used to not mind heights at all but as I get older I seem to have lost that particular trait. I have most of my stands as ladder stands and they run 16-22 feet which is pretty good for me. I propably do 20-22 in my climber but it all depends on the terrain. Now my younger brother has a stand out back on my property that thing sits in a creek bed so he went high to not get picked by deer coming over the tops. It must be 35 + feet. I climbed it once last year and if a deer came out I wouldn't of been able to shoot cause I was holding on with both hands!! Will never climb that sucker again!! I gotta admit I could see forever though! Even through the tears!
  22. Yea my apple trees have very little fruit this year after a branch breaking load last year. I actuall did not see a late frost here, it was close a few times but it must have been enough stress.
  23. I live in shotgun zone so I will start with the Ithica Deerslayer 20 gauge. After I get some venison I will carry the TC Triumph which is just a sweet gun. In rifle zone I like my Marlin 30-30 lever action. I shot a buck at 208 yards with it a couple years ago so it can handle anyplace I hunt around here. I do have a Rem 710 7mm I bought for some Idaho trips I took in the past it is a prettry good shooter but always wanted to upgrade to a Tika in 7-08. But not unless I get a lot of rifle zone land to hunt.
