It can be. I prefer boning the meat and separating the muscle groups. That way I get no bone dust and can trim all the silver skin and fat for a more excellent taste. It looks like that cut is across the lower quarter actually sectioning across multiple muscles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You know I have a Bushnell $70 scope on one of mine and it has held true for over a decade, no problem with the recoil. I do notice the Nikon is just better glass, it is brighter. I will check out Vortex too. Thanks for the replies.

Looking for a scope for my sons new 20 gauge deer gun. I am not looking to break the bank. Just a reliable scope that will do the job. I have a Nikon on mine that I love that I got on sale from a reference on here on a going out of stock item!

Sorry the one is a mangy fox not yote. I have him in other pics. I would say the picture in question is him but too small. I'm going to say fisher. I have them in the area but usually look thinner. I think it's just a weird angle and shadow.

grow I used to notice when my yotes were high the fox were scarce but the last couple of years that is not true. I have both around here now as well. Wonder if the easy winters are equated into more mice, moles, voles chipmunks......

There are 10s of thousands of gun laws already on the books in this country. You need to put some backbone into the laws we already have. If you commit a crime with a gun you get a sentence that makes you or no one else ever want it. You also need to make prison a hell of a lot worse place to go. Prisoners have benefits and services better than a lot of non incarcerated Americans.

I just got an email I got another preference point for The Georgia Quota Hunt for gator. I now have two preferences so when I put in next year I should have a good chance of getting a tag. There are 5-6 of us so we should get a few tags minimum between us. Can't wait. Maybe I will get real Lucky and hit Vermont Moose too I am up to 5 preference points there! Getting the hunting season itch now that we passed into August!

Yea I would delete the pics and just send to Rob. I am proud to be a member here with a lot of you good folks!! I started bow hunting all self taught many moons ago and saved up to buy a cheap Bear Whitetail 2. That thing is a dinosaur compared to some of todays technology but man I shot a bunch of deer with it!! You don't need a new fancy bow to shoot deer that is for sure, just some time and patience. Let us know what arrows you end up shooting out of it I or some of us may have some lying around. I find the extras to actually be more $ than the bow!! I have a bunch of arrows I have moved on from as I am sure others do.
