    My buck

    Beautiful Deer, congrats again!!
  3. We did 12.2 million barrels in 2019, so they are projecting that we may get back to that but it is because the price is so high not because we are being friendly to the oil industry like we were under Trump
  4. It isn't true, we are producing less..... U.S. Field Production of Crude Oil (Thousand Barrels per Day) (eia.gov)
  5. You wouldn't be interested, none of them can pull 55lbs
  6. Glad your ok and those tractor trailers didn't swerve....
  7. It ran about 66 GPS in two foot chop. It needs a bigger prop, the motor is running to many RPM to run it on top end very long. Just ordered one off Ebay yesterday so hopefully it will run 70ish with the new wheel....
  8. Cool pic, i'm thinking hawk that just pounced on something...
  9. If you do happen to see me, make sure you say hello!
  10. Prayers to you and his family. That is awful....
  11. Much better chance of looking for me on Sacandaga unless i happen to be out on Saratoga on a weekday evening! I won't go near that place on the weekend....
  12. Yup, very plausible. I had never given it a thought until Grouse posted it. One thing is for sure, Waco was a cluster
  13. @GrouseI agree with a lot of what you say but I'm not sure i can buy into this. Maybe there was something with destroying Waco, that I have no idea. But I have to agree with @crappyice on this one....Just need to move on from a horrifically awful event caused from a psycho. They aren't bulldozing that school today, I'm sure there are tons of crime scene investigators still there as we speak...
  14. While I agree that ALL schools should have more security in every shape and form. I disagree that it isn't about mental health. Normal people do not shoot kids, schools, random people, etc.... That also goes for people that set fires in crowded buildings, run over people in the street or in a parade, set bombs or any other form of mass murder. These people are psychopaths and we need to figure out a way to deal with them before things escalate to this proportion. We always are shown all the signs after the fact....
  15. Sorry, don't know where i got uncle, must have just read that in there.....You obviously said Father in Law.....Hope he is ok!
  16. I just heard he crashed his truck. No idea what kind of truck it was....
  17. IMO, i think you should be able to go buy whatever you want anytime you want. I don't see his purchase anything out of the norm for someone that might be looking for home protection or anything like that..... BUT, how was he able to purchase any type of gun when he was arrested previously for threatening to shoot up a school? You do something like that you should be eliminated from ever being able to purchase a firearm, what is a NICS check actually checking? IMO, he shouldn't have been able to purchase those guns in the first place and should have been arrested again for trying.....Every time there is a shooting we see that laws that are already on the books are not enforced and all the mistakes that were made leading up too it..... I'd like to know where this kid got the money for two rifles and 1000 rds of ammo. That isn't cheap these days....
  18. While body armor stops a handgun round it still can't feel good to take a 9mm or .45 round to center mass. Would it have stopped him?? We will never know..... Was it confirmed that the security officer hit the shooter with body armor in Buffalo or only that they exchanged fire? A hand gun is no match for a person armed with a rifle, like you said, even with a 357 you can't hold a group past 30 yds and that isn't in a panic situation....Now, having said that, I would rather have a handgun against a rifle than nothing at all. At least a teacher would have another option other than begging and trying to shield kids with his/her body..... I would bet that very few if any of us could hit center mass on a target the distance of a typical school hallway which is much farther than 30 yds at my daughters school with any handgun we would daily carry. But again, i would rather have that than nothing. I have no idea what the answer is......It isn't gun control, or new laws, that i am sure of.... I mentioned i was at a band concert last week for a friend daughter that is 10. Hundreds of people on the football field and 3 officers there. Two sheriffs and a state trooper. While i am glad they were there, if a shooter with a rifle walked onto the football field and started shooting, or started shooting from the woods, what are those 3 LEO's going to do without a rifle on hand? The shooter can hit quarters or half dollars at those distances and the LEO's would be lucky to hit the broad side of a barn with a 9mm at 100 plus yards.... Wish i had the answers.....The only one i can come up with, is get rid of the evil before it comes out of someone....We always see all the red flags after the fact....that should have been obvious....
