Go to the owners tell them that you wanted to thank them for letting you hunt there lad but you have decided not to take them up on it. Tell them that you talked with the handy man to let him know someone else also had permission and to introduce yourself . Let them know how things went and that you do not want them to have problems because of you. Just might turn out that they get a new handyman and you still have permission. Or they tell the guy it's there land and to get over it. Might tell you to move on. Who knows. Choices are this, not hunt it , or hunt it and have problems with other guy. Who then goes to owner and gets you booted. None of the choices are perfect but talking to the person who gave you permission let's them decide what happens. And will keep other guy from making you looked bad. I wouldn't let him have a chance of getting me booted and making them think I am trouble. Any choice there chance you lose permission but make it on your terms not his. You might be surprised at what owners think of someone else trying to run there land on the first day they are there. Also offer to do some of the work for free instead of them paying him to do it.

Does anyone know what this is. I have a video of it but it will not load to post. In the video it shows me touching the limb and these little white things start movin the just wiggle like the limb came alive. The ground under the limb has turned black. These things are on on one limb.

My feet are always soaked from sweat. I bought 3 pair of liner socks from Walmart last year. They were cheapos like 5 bucks for 3 pair. Best investment I ever made. Feels and insulated socks stayed dry and warm. Didn't believe they would actually work but wow what a difference. No more taking 3 pair of socks along to change out.

Call in and do it. I do mine on line then call in for my dad's dmp and muzzle tags every year. He has a life time that he get dump and muzzle free. Every year I tell them I need to get my dad's tags for him and they say OK. I always say we'll I know the person is suppose to do it themselves so are you sure I can get my dad's tags. They aways say as long as I have his info that is all they require. They also have told me I could just go to any place issuing them and they should do it. I have told them they won't as it is required to sign the tags. I was told it is not required and that they get that question a lot . They said you cannot sign tags you get on line or over phone until you get them in mail anyways. From what they told me only requirement for signing is that it is signed before it is used. Bottom line just call it in. If worried about not being him then just pretend to be him. As long as you have his birth date on licenses info they will never know anyways.

The animals will grab them as fast as they hit the ground. Mother nature made it so they do not produce very often but when they do they really do. With Over production the animals might miss a few thus helping to get some to grow. When ours produce I put a cam near by. I don't think an animal missing combine to them when they start to drop. Especially the bear and deer.

Sky for double post. The nuts get pretty big. We had some last year that were 3 inches and almost entirely covered by the cap. I see if I can find a couple I picked up and post a pic.

Yep bur oak. We have a few. They only produce about every 4 years and it's a bumper crop when they do. Last year they had nuts but this year none. The animals love the bur oaks. Beach, red oak, white oak, and hickory are loaded though.

Last year's tags are no good as of August 31new tags good starting September 1. I believe. So would have to use this year's tags.

Look up videos of black bear clicking. They will pop there jaws sometimes. Kind of sounds like a clicking. At least it does to me. Video sounds a little different from hearing it in person though.

Destroying anything that points to our or anyone else's history is destroying the past. Without a past there can be no future. Not one race in the world can say they have a perfect or peacefully history. What they can do is look to the reminders of that history and remember. This is what keeps us from repeating our history. If our past is erased then we are doomed to repeat it. No one alive today was a slave nor did anyone alive today own slaves. So why continue to look as these things as symbols of it. Why not look at them as symbols of our history and how things changed. Which is what they are.

Yea lump sum is about 58%. Then taxes federal and state. NY has the highest lottery tax. I did see a report on channel 2 that lump sum after taxes you would get about 128 million. Little less if live in NYC because of extra taxes. Do not know where channel 2 got there numbers.

Blow them up. The stag moves in each shot yet people never change at all. Seems like the guy on drivers side is starting to move from door yet stops like a statue while 3 photos are snapped.

It's a red stag. Left side woods are higher combined with distance from car and person taking pic makes him look higher then he is. Meaning car is long ways off and so is photographer plus lower angle from camera.

Land owners always get permit and get it first. If there are only say 2000 dmp being issued for a unit and 2200 land owners put in for permits that leaves none for other hunters. How is this random? I always get denied for at least 1 of my selections if I apply after the first 3 days. I started making sure I apply the first day and haven't been denied any in over 15 years. If it were truly a lottery all hunters would have to have applied before any are issued. Then names would be drawn and permits handed out. The mega millions is a lottery we do not find out if we ever won on the day we buy our ticket. We find out after a deadline then numbers are drawn. I just do not understand how it is a lottery if all applications are not in to be drawn from. A friend's farther always got licenses on last couple of days, just was never in a hurry to get them because as they say same chance last day as first. He always got denied. 2 years ago we convinced him to get them the first day. He got both his choices that year same with last year and then again yesterday. He went from having his son signing one over every year to having 2 of his own just by getting them early. Not trying to start anything here just can not sure how it can be a lottery. On the other hand I know guys who get denied earl u and others who get them late.
