Happy thanksgiving stuffed loin

Nice. You throwing it in the smoker or baking it? -
Good on you for giving people a second chance. That's a very noble thing to do. I'm with you on that. When you're young sometimes you make some stupid decisions that come back and haunt you for the rest of your life. So to be given a second chance means a lot. I'm sure the people that you hired we're very grateful for that opportunity because I'm sure more than a few doors were slammed in their face.

Well. They didn't hire any legal immigrants. So technically they didn't outsource anything. I was just clarifying the statements made about hiring illegal immigrants, which was false. If some man/woman from England or Scotland moves here, for example, and is more qualified to be an employee, then by all means they should be hired. Why not? Thats just my opinion. I want the best and brightest contributing to our country, regardless of ethnicity, religion, sex, etc. Not because of some quota that needs to be filled. If you don't want the best candidate that could fill a position, then you must support this so called diversity quota. Like I said earlier, if you only support US born citizens to fill a govt position thats your opinion. But for me, I want the best candidate for the job.

Thats not totally true. They were fined 10k for passing over "work-authorized immigrants" aka legal immigrants. They were never fined for not hiring illegal immigrants. Nor do they advocate for that. Can you please cite your source of info where it says they were fined for not hiring illegals. Wether your believe only naturalized citizens should hold law enforcement jobs is another topic in its own. But i thought we liked legal immigrants? The problem we have is with illegal immigrants. Is there an issue with legal immigrants being hired? So Yes they were fined 10k. but No, they were not fined for not hiring illegal immigrants http://www.denverpost.com/2016/11/21/denver-sheriff-department-wrongful-hiring-practices/

Talking about never choking on blowjobs.... a deepthroat professional and we are supposed to be a site for kids to learn stuff about the outdoors? Nice. Thank God i dont have a daughter on this forum. -
It's funny that you post this. Last night me and my buddy who have been hunting together since we were teenagers started talking about opening day. Unfortunately this year I won't be able to make it out for opening day due to family obligations so I'll be going away the following weekend. But we've been lucky enough to hunt private property in the Catskills for the last 10 years or so. I so I asked him if we had ever hunted public land opening day because I just couldn't remember since it's been a long time. And he reminded me a story of me and him walking in the woods late after a long night out LOL And we passed a couple hunters who were not very happy with us but we had no choice. Long story short we had never been to this land but within 20 minutes of daylight I had bagged two does. So the hunt was over before it even started LOL good luck to all you guys this weekend!

Trump / Obama
diplomat019 replied to Water Rat's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I think he is saying trump is the same as obama. Awesome! Is this the general consensus? -
Atta boy!!! Hopefully you scored some good food while you were there!

In all fairness. If you read the article you would see a link that was there in regards to the Second Amendment. It was pro trump. Did you see that? So I wouldn't go as far as saying Field & Stream was attacking Trump. also, what is wrong with being proactive? I don't see the logic in waiting for something bad to happen and then reacting to it. That's like saying how could you say that Hillary Clinton is going to take away guns. Let's wait for her to do it and then react to it. I also didn't see anything that was in favor of taking up on arms and starting a war. If you follow Field & Stream you would know that they had favorable opinions of Donald Trump compared to Hillary.

Lol. Im cool with the trump thread. Its whatever. and i realize that politics and hunting are intertwined. We can debate the topic without memes and name calling Thats my take idk if u are referring to me weeping but i didnt give that impression. I made it clear that hillary was never my choice. I just posted an article that was relevant to outdoorsmen. they brought up valid points.
-
its interesting that as outdoorsmen we find ourselves on both sides of the aisle when it comes to hunting/firearms. I'm just generalizing, but for the most part we are on board with republicans as far as the 2nd amendment, yet find ourselves on the democrat platform in regards to nature and preservation. yet it seems like the overwhelming majority of outdoorsmen lean to the right when it comes to voting. anyway. i found the article interesting and F&S seems to do a good job on reporting politics when they give their input. so lets try and stay on topic and not go down another road.

I had a shop mount a scope for me years back. they mounted the scope where i could see my iron sites thru the lense..... I've mounted my scopes since then on my own. wildcat gives good advice with tightening the screws a little bit at a time.

Obamas next job
diplomat019 replied to 10point's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
in all fairness, those slums were there long before obama took office, and will be there long after he is gone. -
Yup! The mountains were in my backyard. What did you think of real italian food???
-
Very cool! Growing up i spent every other summer in italy with my family. The food pics you posted brought back some good memories. Havent been there in 10 years tho. My town is about a 45 minute train ride north of venice. So we spent many day trips in venice. Hopefully you took tons of pics!!
