Crossbow hunters will ALWAYS be second class citizens, considered cheaters by real bowhunters and the general public.

Nonsense. The controversy has been created by crossbow pushers like you who demand that crossbows be allowed in bow season. NYB is simply trying to protect bow hunting and bow hunters. Remember, crossbows have always been illegal. It is preposterous that you would blame NYB for creating the controversy. Support each other? LMFAO. An easy way to do that is to find a different season, instead of forcing their way into ours, where they have always been illegal, where they will never belong.

I would celebrate the fact that they had the common sense to leave crossbows OUT of bowseason, and preserved bow season for bowhunters.

I don't know if all this animosity is directed towards me or not, but.... Let's be clear. I have permission to hunt the properties I hunt....including the unposted one. I do not condone anyone hunting on property they do not have permission to hunt, whether it is posted or un posted. That said....I am merely telling you what the law is. No need to shoot the messenger.

I agree 100%. If they want to bowhunt, nothing prevents them from doing that TODAY except their own lack of motivation. We should not have to change the rules and reward their laziness.

I think it is an overstatement to say that it would "kill our sport." Trespassing on posted property is far more damaging to our image than legally hunting unposted property. So is road hunting, baiting, etc. I would bet all of these happen far more than any issues on unposted land, primarily because there is not a lot of unposted land around to begin with. I think the law needs to be changed to protect landowners' rights. I agree that it should be illegal to hunt on land without permission. But I highly doubt it is very damaging to our sport, let alone that it would "kill" it.

Most leftists don;t have a problem with registering guns, but they wold have a problem with registering people to speak. Yet, oth are individual rights, both guaranteed by the constitution.
