Even if I'm wrong on the mass and we give him geno's measurement.. I still see 6" less on overall tine measurement.. which brings his gross down to 124 from 130.. deduct the 9th point and the net drops to near 120.. not counting any differential in measurements between left and right side corresponding measurements.

Exactly... if the bucket was empty.. the guy couldn't be arrested for having illegal fish.. just like he can't be arrested for a loaded weapon in a vehicle if the weapon wasn't loaded... I don't see the comparison either to a full bucket of fish and an unloaded gun with ammo in reach.

Something as unimportant as that pisses you off??? I will never understand why people let little thing get to them.. thats way more unnecessary stress than a person should put on themselves. The only person that gets bothered by getting pissed off that easily is the person that is pissed off... everyone else doesn't give it a second thought... especially the person you're pissed about...

I have a friend that did a whitetail buck mount with yellow eyes and fangs.. I have the pic around somewhere.. I'll try to dig it up.. it is actually quite a good mount technically.. just wierd looking because of the eyes and fangs.

That was kind of a tradition in my family when I was a boy.. my kids don't have the chance to hunt with me opening day so it has gone by the wayside over the years.

If a gun is not loaded .. it is not loaded... you can not be arrested for a loaded gun that is not loaded.. he may be able to arrest you for something else like menacing if there are other factors involved... or some other charge related to whatever it is you are doing that seems fishy.. but he can not arrest you for having a loaded gun in the vehicle if the gun isn't loaded. A judge would just throw that charge out. Although, if he thought that you had just unloaded the gun in the car.. that might be different.. but he would have to prove it.

Can't say I disagree either...I think its spot on... and it pretty much explains liberalism in a way that even the liberals can understand it.. although maybe not... because it is the reality and reality is something liberals refuse to acknowledge. -

I don't think 13 a side.. i bet he doesn't get 3" on the last 2 measurement on each sides.. he's kind of spindley.. maybe 12 a side.. if he's 125 net he's P&Y.. but I say no

I agree about the g2 and 3's but only 7" I think...his brow tines are only 4 and mass is maybe 23.. I'm thinkin' like 5-7 inches smaller than what you got.

I think I'd just try to see if you can make friends with the guy first... nice usually works.. if not... casually mention that he should be careful about letting the deer run dogs and that salt licks are illegal during deer season and you wouldn't want him getting into any trouble..lol

Remember ear cups are about 6"... so your measurements are a tad high Geno but close... mid 120's.. but i'm probably shooting this one with my bow.

I'm pretty sure an officer can arrest you if he sees cause and just let the judge sort it out... bumping a deer after dark in the woods could probably be considered hunting.. it might be up to the officers discretion... and would depend on your explaination for being in the woods after dark especially with a loaded weapon... the law says you can't hunt deer before or after shooting hours... if the officer thinks you were... you're getting ticketed.. no matter how anyone rationalizes it on this thread.

It's okay to drag it out by the neck, but not hang it by the neck? Really?? I think it's more disrepectful to be criticizing someone for the way he hangs his deer.

I stand corrected.. that law is written only for specific public hunting areas like state parks et.c around the state... I could not find it as a general law that would pertain to private property.

How long has everyone been using a call? I'm going on 30 years now... I even helped with the promotion of the "True Talker" before it was sold to Hunter Specialties... I spent nearly 5 years studying whitetail vocalizations with a guy named David Oathout and showed the first ever filmed "snort wheeze" on a show I did back in the 90's.. way before anyone even really knew what it was. I never go into the woods without my grunt call.

True.. but you might want to have some coyote hunting paraphernalia on you or some coon dogs as well during deer season.. otherwise you will have to answer quite a few questions if approached by an EnCon officer
