  1. Drag on a cheap sled? I have a long drive ahead so I'll just keep chucking ideas out! Beautiful buck by the way congratulations
  2. Or maybe attach a boat winch up high on it somewhere? Above the bed
  3. I've seen a gadget on TV made specifically to load a deer onto an ATV
  4. Why load it? I drag mine with the quad, rope around neck and get it as high off the ground as you can. It doesn't hurt anything. Unless you are worried about the cape
  5. thats why I do mine at home, don't want to toss it on that steaming pile of deer. Especially if it's the first couple days
  6. Whatever you choose make sure you drink one per every half that goes in the pot. That's just good common sense
  7. I'm surprised they worded it as "either sex" since In NY it's either antlered or antlerless. Just one more way for our regs to be confusing
  8. They are technically required to give you your own meat thought aren't they?
  9. I'm driving around northern NJ for work and it's some of the prettiest deer cover you've ever seen, but the posted sign is the state flag I think.
  10. Just saw a guy in chest deep water pushing a canoe across Montezuma refuge, I'm guessing there's a deer in the boat
  11. crossbow Hunter?? I kid, I kid save your PMs, people
  12. I mug little old ladies to fund all those activities
  13. I think the key is the next few weeks. If it stays decent the Bucks can recover from the rut better. Last year they went from rut to a Winter survival mode, no chance to fatten back up before the deep freeze
  14. I think a lot of people watch the outdoor channel and decide to give deer hunting a try. And then they get out in NY or anywhere for that matter and when a 150" doesn't stroll by every 45 minutes they get discouraged and stop going
  15. Anyone ever had goat? A friend brought some chops to camp one year and it was amazing
  16. thats true as far as sightings but seeing half the hunters he's used to seeing is cause for concern
  17. Gronks injury didn't look that bad there wasn't much bend to the knee. Hopefully just a sprain. I have to say I do enjoy the Pats getting jobbed by the refs for a change, that holding call on Chung was absolute garbage and it probably cost them the game
  18. Carl may have to silence that Dennis the menace looking kid
