    I looked for a tenth of a second and then looked at nothing but the crosshairs lol. He went down in sight with his head behind a tree and I still waited an hour and a half before getting down to check him out. I feared ground shrinkage!

    I shot this buck six minutes or so after into the opener. He came in chasing a doe with another deer I never got a good look atThats an iPhone timer selfie, not bad! Took me several tries if anyone was watching they're still laughing

    i found a nice spot in there late last year but never got there this year. It's close enough to home I really should hunt it

    I would, because I can hardly get my eyes on a deer once opening weekend is over. I'm jealous of you guys that can decide to "take a doe" whenever you feel like it

    I hit a doe high shoulder with a slug once and she tipped over like a decoy, legs straight out and stiff, i could have stood her back up

    They finally threw one to Watkins and he made a sick one handed catch to keep a drive going. The game ended on another Watkins catch, he got out of bounds and the clock kept running. They ruled he gave himself up I think which is absurd. The officiating was horrible both ways

    I just drove through the refuge, theres only a couple trucks there. Lots of guys in Pembroke/Akron/Clarence. I wish I were one of them
