    I got turned around on Boutwell Hill years ago, and was soaked with snow and sweat to boot. I was following the sound of the snow machines at Cockaigne and then they turned off. I ended up doing a big circle and walked right into my coat that I had left hanging on a trail. I was actually pretty nervous being as wet as I was but worst case scenario that day was a very long walk back to my truck

    I hated my lone wolf. It didn't pack well, never quite tight enough so it made a racket. Those knobs and cam locks busted up my knuckles especially in freezing temps. And it wasn't comfortable after all that anyway. I have a Summit Open Shot now and the best part to me is that it's ready to go when you get to your tree. No setup required. I won't claim it's comfortable though as it's not great. Four hour sits or so and its fine though, I trade comfort for quick and quiet setup. I could buy an Open Shot and a Viper for the cost of a LW

    I lay my jacket and sweater across the stand in front of me and climb up to height. I wear a rock climbing harness so it getting in the way is not an issue
