  1. I'm not sure if this one of the oddest or funniest analogies I have ever read. Either way I liked it. LOL!
  2. I keep saying the same thing also. It's not just NYC and downstate, it's all the major cities. Albany, Utica, Rochester, Syracuse, and Buffalo.
  3. Glad is wan't a nightmare and was easily cleaned up with very minimal damage.
  4. Grey squirrels in Schenectady eat chicken wings, or at least eat what is left on the bones. For almost a year my fiancée kept yelling at me for leaving chicken wing bones on the railing of the back deck. I swore I wasn't doing it. One morning after the neighbor had made a bunch of wings on his grill the night before she was taking the dog out and opened the back door to see a tree rat drop the wing bone and run off, I also saw it first hand. There isn't much that amazes me anymore in the world. But there sure are things that come up that I can only shake my head about. If you can trap that bugger let me know, I would love a mouse eating rodent to help out around here.
  5. Yes. They have side shields for regular glasses, and a good selection of actual safety glasses. The prices are a bit high, but not as steep as the big eye glasses shops. It's the only part of Wally World I have never had an issue with.

  9. These polls on here and having an opinion don't do jack shit do get the DEC to lean one way or another. You are very confused and delusional on that FACT! Wolc, you have gone bat shit crazy with your agenda. I told you once, and now I will tell you again, I made that poll as a joke! I don't give a rats ass what or how people hunt as long as it's legal and ethical. Let me fill you in on something, in most hunters opinions shooting/killing game from your bathroom window is unethical. You keep on trucking bro. Post away!
  10. Yet here you are using the WWW to promote your propaganda.
  11. I'm patiently waiting for Venom, and hoping that gives way to a Carnage spin-off ( That will never happen, but hoping it does ).
  12. I would love one of these! https://snowdog.com
  13. Now she's just screwing with you guys.
  14. Agree But.......What cook stove? When I started camping it was cooking over the fire, no gas or propane. It's not really camping if you rely on a cook stove to cook. Just my opinion. If anyone ever gets to meet me any my soon to be wife, ask her about the time I used an umbrella to try finishing cooking my pork chops over coals when a sudden downpour started. I caved, but I gave one hell of a run for almost 20 minutes with water running down places water shouldn't run unless I am in the shower or under a water fall. LOL! This is a good program, I was all for it last year and all for it this year. Wish they would do things like this to get people into hunting, but maybe this will be the doorway for that in the future.
  15. That stinks Jeremy, hope you get power back soon. Take a power outage to this. Just climbed up and put a few screws in that sucker so hopefully it doesn't get worse. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  16. Good thing they aren't made of paper anymore. That would have been a mess, and a tear down of the washer to get the shot out of the base. Or, buy a new washer. Have washed many things over the years, wallets, keys, candy, receipts, money ( both bills and coins ), and condoms. But never ran any ammo through the washer.
  17. I don't do hard liquor much anymore. I like a cold beer though. In the old days my favorite mixed was a Bloody Mary Extra Hot ( I mean HOT ). As for shooters, when I was young, anything went. I would say my favorite was a tie between JD and Wild Turkey. I was also a fan of Canadian Club 100 proof. I am breaking the rules I have for camping, and damning the pancreatitis, I am taking a small bottle of E&J to have with the last of the nice cigars the fiancée got me for my birthday. It will be my wedding night, so I am going to enjoy it.
  18. Never seen or heard of that before. Interesting to say the least. At least now we know who would win a fight between Alvin and Stuart Little.
  19. Something different tonight. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  20. I may look into this more for next season. Thanks for the info Doewhacker.
  21. Is the boys club trying to chase off the last woman hunter we have left on here?
  22. So, I looked this up. Seems it's more geared at wing shooting then shooting a turkey on the ground. I will still have to pattern and make adjustments. db, again, if your system works, then don't change it.
  23. I say if you have a set up that's working for you why change it? I have never hunted turkey with anything but a bead style sight. The reason I go out and pattern is to see where I have to aim to get the most shot going into the head/neck area and less in the body. This isn't always easy using bead style sights. If I was using a scope, things would be easier, I could set a zero to the best group of shot ( pattern ), then adjust the scope up to make sure more shot hit the head/neck and not the body. Just my $.01.
