We started with someone breaking a law, then it advanced into fishing regs, and has now avalanched into full on nonesence. This thread should have been deleted the instance someone broke a law/reg. Yep. I need to find a way to over the gag reflex I have with mouth calls. I may have gotten him to come that 25yds if I could have made a few more calls. Good morning for me. Didn't get the kill but had a lone jake come in silent. He tooled around at about 40 yds for a while then strolled off. Man I forgot how hard your heart beats when they come in. You use them almost like a scallion. I know people who dehydrate the leaves and use as a spice, but I have always found them bitter after re-hydrating. I slice them up for salads, pasta sauce, or even put them in homemade salsa. You can sauté them just like an onion ( but a lot less cooking time ), and use on a steak, in burgers, meatloaf, stuffed pork chops...... The list never ends. Take a look at leek recipes in the web. You can pickle them as well. My favorite way aside from soup, is just eat them raw with whatever meal I prepared.

That means so much to me, thanks, jack ass!. Let me explain a little something more to you. I am disabled, I have a bad back that gets a little worse each year. I have days I can barely move. I also have days where I am mobile with no pain, and days where mobility is painful, but I can get around. I still bust my ass to get into the woods as often as my health allows. No one helps me climb the mountains I hunt, no one sets up my hunting spots, no one scouts for me, and I don't use trail cams. So think about this, you sitting in a chair in your bedroom puts a splinter under my finger nail. Also, look at the people on this site who have gone through surgery for shoulders and put the work in to get back to shooting a vert bow. My hats goes off to each and every one of them! DO YOU GET IT NOW! I and no one else will ever convince you these polls and stats from sites are nonsense.

I tried explaining this the first time I tried it about a year or so ago. I honestly can't do the flavor justice, but I will try again to explain. To me, it's not fruity, it's pretty mellow for a black & tan, and just has a flavor all it's own. It goes well with just about any food except pasta with a red sauce. I honestly wish I could explain the taste. If I had to make a comparison I would say a Yuengling Black & Tan, but more flavorful and a bit smoother. This is just my personal opinion on this beer, but I would suggest if anyone finds it give it a try.

Started keeping a written journal this season.

Haven't been out since Thursday. Opening day, I have a thread on that one. Wed., few gobbles and then notta. Thurs., not a peep. I left the weekend opener on public land alone. 0-3 so far, but still time left. I'll be out tomorrow and most likely Tues. .

Wolc, I want you to understand something, I am not trying to be a jerk to you, or come off as being mean. I am simply trying to say that polls on web forums are about as useful as elevators in outhouses. As for shooting from your house, I don't care what window you use, IMO it's still not acceptable in my mind. I don't care what you shoot from said window, to me it's still being lazy, and God doesn't like lazy people. There's a difference in building a heated blind and just strolling to your window. Setting up blinds takes work and dedication to the hunt. You scout, you find the best place to build your blind, and do the manual labor of building that blind. It's not even close to the same thing as putting a kitchen chair in front of a window in your home. There is nothing that will get through to you. Others have tried to explain about these polls and stats, you just don't seem to get it. Your are buying into hype, and trusting in bullshit.
