  1. Updates already hit. Like I said the fridge was busted and I had to buy a new one. Borrowed a small one from the g/f's parents to get us through until Tuesday when the new one is delivered. It's OK though, we knew what we were getting into buying an older mobile home. Truck rental was a PITA! We had a reservation for 3pm, get there, no truck, Waited two hours before they got it to us. I was going to light the guy up but the g/f went off on him before I could even say a word ( for those who think I am a mouthy pr***, she is just as bad ) and got a good deal on mileage. Picked up the new sofa and dropped it off, then came back here to start loading. The only things left to put on the truck are the things we needed tonight. Coffee table, bed, my PC and desk, our small upright freezer, and the microwave. Tomorrow night, steaks on the grill, some cold beer, and then staring at the stars with the g/f and the dog.
  2. Nice diplomat019. I used to catch then all the time as a kid and cook them up. There's a you tube channel called Joe and Zack Survival, he catches them in Minnesota and Louisiana and says they taste the same more or less.
  3. Anyone interested in a free sofa and a small AC unit? Sofa is in good shape and the AC worked as of last month. If so and you can pick them up Sunday morning shoot me a PM.
  4. People must be really bored to bring this one up again. Might I suggest going fishing or catching mud-bugs on your own?
  5. Nobody likes a hot bush? I have no reply. Doing my best to keep the site PG-14.
  6. What do you contribute? Less then nothing! You never seem to get involved in actual hunting discussions, unless it's about doves. You come in here and only spam your dove agenda. When members ask about caliber for deer, or best tactics do you contribute? NO! Do you get involved in the fishing area, camping area, or the general world of being an outdoors person? NO! Doves, doves, doves, and yet more doves! Everything you post eventually goes into dove hunting. So please, tell us again how you contribute to this site Mike? This site does far more for you then you do for this site! You have an agenda and push it so far that some people who used to try and help your agenda now have no respect for you. You can cry all you want, you can't change that you are a single minded person who doesn't care what others think as long as they help promote your cause! You don't care about the hunting community as a whole, just about your own personal agenda! Oh, you have posted in the Moose Bill forum, but you still made a point to tell another member they didn't know what they were talking about. How is that contributing to this site? You go on and think you are the only person who counts in a hunting world. You made the choice to only care about your own agenda, not us! Eat your own stew and stop blaming other people when you don't get the response you want! Mike, I have met grampy in person, and I talk to him on the phone pretty often! He's a stand up guy and has contributed more to this site then you ever will! He has no agenda, he has no ulterior motives. So using him as your point of aggression is just ridiculous! Then again, you are ridiculous anyway! This site is a great source for information, do we all get along or agree all the time? NO! But, there is one thing we all do agree on, we are hunters, and most of us try to contribute to the entire site, not just our own personal goals. Mike, you can say I am picking on you ( for the record, I will say the same thing to your face as I say on here ), you can say am an anti, you can pretty much say anything you want. The truth is, you are a troll, you spam this site for money, and honestly give nothing back. The know the biggest thing, you and another member use this thread to clear up personal issues, and you don't even know what the threads is. Does the site work for you? Does it load? Any errors? Don't worry Mike, Pampers on the way. Oh, and if you want to play the he attacked me card, I did, I give you a peace of my mind. I will not apologize for that!
  7. I tossed a few burgers on the grill tonight and sliced up some red onion. Pringles and home made pickles on the side. Sorry no pic.
  8. As long as that fridge works. We went out today with a load and checked. Freezer was barely cool and the fridge area was warm after sitting since Tuesday night. WTF! So on the way home it was a stop at the Sears Outlet store for a new fridge. Never had a need to have credit at Sears before. Now I sure as hell do. LOL Loving having my own home, but, not feeling it right now. LOL
  9. Just a cold Busch tonight. Maybe three.
  10. If I owned my own land and it was large enough to hunt on I would use trail cams. But, I would still walk the property to see what was going on live. I have always scouted when possible. I enjoy the time spent finding scrapes, rubs and locating bedding areas.
  11. He says that with an espresso machine in the background. LOL
  12. I will miss that. New home has no Speedway's even remotely close. Grow, you have to take a pic of that receipt and post it, just for kicks.
  13. Good luck grampy. Don't forget the banana. LOL
  14. The problem is he can still post on here. On a side note, and not to hijack your thread Mike, but I have a question. You ask for donations to get dove hunting allowed in NYS, and you really do go all out in your determination. So, why is your site on a free host? I would think if someone was that determined and asking for donations you would at least have a dedicated paid site. Perhaps you are not as dedicated as you come off? OK, that was two questions.
  15. That post cracks me up Uptown! Never seen a post from you about actually being in the woods and hunting, much less killing any game. Never seen you post anything to help other hunters who ask questions. Never seen you post in a thread about guns or ammo. How many days did you get in last deer season? How many days did you Spring turkey hunt? Did you do any small game hunting ( squirrel, rabbit, birds )? There's a lot of agreement here, about HUNTING! Most of the arguing going on is in the political section. You would know that if you read more then just the political section. Clues are on sale this week, buy a few.
  16. Got tired of quick easy meals over the last week or fast food. I needed some red meat!!!!!! Shell steaks, corn on the cob ( yes, I cook it in foil, I hate charred corn ), and a tomato/mozzarella/red onion salad.
  17. Carpets installed. Thank God the g/f's parents weren't busy to meet the installer today. No way I could have made the drive out as Lowes decided to get it done a day early. Went out last night and did a little cleaning and made sure electric was turned on and got the fridge going. Didn't do squat today, gave my back a rest. Three days and counting.
  18. Ah, figured you would be going with your dad Biz. Sorry about that.
  19. Why not just do a DIY hunt Biz? Less money I would imagine.
  20. I hope not. I have a TAC vest and some old ALICE gear. I am not giving those up either. LOL
  21. A guy my g/f works with goes to Maine about every other month, he's willing to grab some ammo for me when he gets his. Our stupid laws are so twisted around them selves here in NY it's painful. I could get Hornady ammo for my 26-06 for $20 a box if I could order it, way better then the $50 I paid. Even the Fusions I bought are half what I paid online.
  22. Yes they did. But I don't trust Hillary on not selling our land, sorry. JMO. Our national forests need to remain public and not be lotted off for housing, to other countries, or anything of the sort. As for maintaining wildlife and protecting endangered species, I am not sure any political group can do this alone, it's takes people like us, sportsman/women, to do our part as well. Same goes for habitat control. Culver, I see what you are saying. I agree. My point was, in my humble opinion, I have no problem with NICS. I argue with people all the time about handgun permits, while I see why many feel that a permit is a good thing as a handgun is so easy to conceal, I don't think I should have to jump through hoops to own one. If a criminal really wants a gun, long or short, they will find a way to get one.
  23. Can we buy ammo online and have it shipped to us in NYS? Or Not? I read it can be purchased online but has to go through an FFl dealer, and they charge a fee. I have read you can just order it to your home, but some sellers won't deal with NY and our F'D-up laws. Then I came across this today from Target Sports USA: http://www.targetsportsusa.com/ny-safe-act-online-ammo-sales-p-58633.aspx Does anyone know the actual facts on this one?
