Thank you GreeneHunter. Looks like I will be making the trek to Dicks for ammo.

We have a male and a female where we are now in the city. The female puts out a good amount of berries. When they produce the side walk under the female looks like a purple mess, and all the bird scat on the trucks is purple. LOL Nice pics of those deer grow.

So, let me get this straight. Both grow and Law had ants in their pants..... I guess ants gets around.

Any good ones? Also, and good shooting ranges or clubs?

If the 2nd Amendment was repealed
DirtTime replied to Rattler's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
If the message ever comes through that we all have to turn in our guns, you will see a full blown revolution in this country. Not that we aren't headed that way anyhow. We will be fighting our own military and leo's. I don't think that will end well. -
They are too busy figuring out a way to ban guns after Orlando to worry about us hunters.

Took a small load out this evening and showed the place to the g/f's parents. Had to give them a key as they are going to go hang out when the guy comes to measure for the new carpet and when they come to install it. Also had to get the meter number to get electricity turned on. They aren't numbered by lot so I hope I have the right one. Saw a dead deer along 9W on the way up.

If the 2nd Amendment was repealed

They will still find a way to get guns and ammo. They will be armed and we won't. They found a way in Paris. -
That's awesome grampy. Nice fish and good pics. Glad you had a great day on the lake.

Well, at least he didn't break a nail. OMG! That would have been just too much! I had a funny comment about his name, Kuntzman, but..................... I posted this vid in another thread, it's a few years old but like I said in my thread, this young lady knows more about what people call 'assault rifles' then this flake, most politicians, the media, and all the anti's put together! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_-N9_tnWBo Apparently they don't bruise HER shoulder or scare HER!

Thanks for all the feedback. I haven't hunted over a field in years and years. Areas I hunt now are all less then 100yd shots. So it should be just fine. Just hope the Fusions in 120 won't be to hot a round for the Axis XP. I also like this caliber due to what t_barb mentioned, I can easily drop down in bullet weight and use the rifle for chucks and yotes.

Just a tip though, where the Copyright is, put the year and "All Rights Reserved". Looking good! -
Not if you keep drinking that Mexican beer biz!

The Fusions seem like a great round for the caliber and deer. Really hope the rifle likes them. If not, I will try the Fed Vital Shock and then Rem Core Loct.

Never owned or shot a quarter bore, until a week ago ( still haven't shot it yet ). I did a lot of reading and watching videos on the 25-06 for deer. From what I have read it's pretty close to the .270, and is a solid deer cartridge with the right bullet. I don't reload, and most of what I read using factory ammo was the bullet type and weight. Most said the 115gr and 117gr are best, with a bullet that doesn't shatter when it hits bone. Nosler Partitions. Also, this is a somewhat low recoil round so when and if the g/f makes up her mind about hunting she should be able to use it just fine. So I went with the Federal Fusion 120gr bullets. ( I know, I have to see what the rifle likes best, that's a given ) Any thoughts from the masses?

OK! Those odd balls asking for carcasses were messed up. But this has to top that. That's just wrong, really wrong. LOL

It does for me. -
Are you suggesting some of us need to take Midol? I started my regimen last fall. Upped the dosage in February, and it seems to be working. Oh, and I pulled the lump of coal from my backside and decided to think more about how I come off on this site.
