  1. Nice firefighter mug but it is empty WTH!!!!
  2. Sorry But this does not sound like even remotely good advice May be the way I am reading it but would never put myself or anyone in that position I believe in NY if you don't own it you need permission Here in NH you don't need permission if it isn't posted but recommended & I always ask anyway if they say NO I move on
  3. I would say it all depends on the area But I can see why people in the area we hunt are reluctant to give permission to hunt their land
  4. It is funny because you would expect that here in NH if land is not posted it is legal to hunt. but we do have a lot of large traks of land here not posted
  5. Yup that was pretty much how it was or at least what it felt like to me during the week was not as bad but weekends were horrible. the last year we went for gun season we stayed out of the woods & hit the Vineyards & breweries instead
  6. after going public land hunting & hearing the shots we wondered if there was any ammo to be found on a store shelf during gun season never been so scared in my life Then to see the hunting group that came in late putting a drive on through everyone the Drivers screaming & shooting in the air was enough for me
  7. This is the reason my crew switched going to NY from gun season to bow season hardly anyone on the public land we hunt during bow Rifle is like going to Dunkin Doughnuts on free coffee day
  8. Very Nice now how about the Camp Pic's
  9. should have included that I stretch before shooting my bow while hunting I do it throughout the day
  10. Well they showed up last night trimmed them to fit my boots well they fit my bogs but tight fit in my Danner'. They probably would fit in my Danner's if I didn't spill calcium chloride on them last year (shrunk the leather) it came with a little warning card that states these do not get hot they get warm I turned one on & left one off went outside took the dirtbike for an hour ride in the 30 degree weather yes that was stupid I was freezing other than my one foot. It was a quick test but they do work next test is for how long they last between charges then how long before they don't work anymore
  11. Yup happened to me a few years ago. I pulled more muscles than I knew I had. I had to get rid of my Hoyt due to it as I couldn't draw it at 50#'s & switched to a Mathews Solocam which I can draw at over 60#'s took months of PT to where I now have no pain but still have an issue with it being stiff some days I learned the hard way & now always stretch before going out especially when the temps start dropping Hope you didn't do any damage & is just sore
  12. It's the Final Countdown 10 days to go & headed to Yates county 4:30 AM Oct. 30th
  13. I don't hunt from a stand. I always am on the ground a lot of still / spot & stalk so my hand is on my bow 99% of the time drawback of it is the batteries last about 3 hours on med heat so I don't leave it on all the time
  14. That & just plain getting old!
  15. Body usually stays warm it is my hands & feet that get cold so I carry hand warmers & I have a dragonfire heated grip for my bow as that hand always gets cold first & hopefully my ThermaCell heated insoles arrive soon than I should be good to go
  16. Yes the ones I won are wireless not sure if they are the new ones or the classics
  17. http://www.gizmag.com/thermacell-heated-insoles-review/29943/ Reading this review could expian why people say they don't work
  18. Thank you that's a pretty good deal I have thought about buying them for a couple years but couldn't get myself to spend the cash to find out I didn't like them so glad I won a set from thermacell if I like them I will be sure to buy a second set. My feet & hands are always cold first
  19. Keep me posted on how you like them I am hoping to have them before I leave for NY on the 30th
  20. well hope they don't get taser hot if they do would hate to wet myself then be really cold below the waist
  21. Does anyone use them? I just won a pair just wondering if they work well or not
  22. Nice buck Congratulations Wooly
